The price of expansion should decrease as you increase the size of your farm. For example, my farm was a 11x11 farm. I noticed that the cost to expand to 12x12 was $20,000. The cost to expand to 13x13 was $50,000. When I expanded to 12x12, I expected the cost of expanding to 13x13 to drop to $30,000, but it stayed at $50,000. So basically, I wasted $20,000. I should have skipped expanding to 12x12 and expanded straight to the largest size I could afford.
Please fix this. All it does is waste our hard earned money :)

there is nothing to fix, you can't skip. Have to go 11x11 then 12x12 and so on.
Count yourself lucky, I need 500,000 for my next expansion.

The expansion costs are reasonable. With each expansion you are buying a greater amount of new land and therefore it should cost more.
