Finally got the goal that unlocked the hot sauce. I collected red peppers from my farm and ivy popped up and I had to give her 50 peppers, I think. Then I had to give 30 monster tails. Now I'm making the hot sauce in the kitchen, waiting to see what it does, 3 hours to make.

Edit: You need to be level 17 to trigger this quest. It is triggered by harvesting a hot pepper. If you are maxed on hot peppers you can still trigger this by harvesting hot peppers. It may take a couple of tries.

I just got to level 20, maybe that's why. And I'm finished with the latest goals except for getting the shards from the stone thing. That's all I can think of.

I'm level 20 too, not tried since level 18 tho. Might be worth having another go at growing some to see if it makes a difference.

I'm level 20 but have 99 peppers already so when I collect a pepper it says "you can't collect any more peppers". I've no way of using them. I guess I'm stuck!

Yes I unlocked it two days ago and finished the goal yesterday. Maybe I need to wait til I can collect from it again? Collecting from Ivy's house did nothing this time.

Tried growing more and collecting and no joy. I have no goals left apart from the castle adventures and I can't do the caves because of this. I'm getting fed up with the bugs in this game. I have spent money on gems in this game and I'm feeling very annoyed. Either make new quests or I'll lose interest and you'll lose my money. Also please fix the max limit goal trigger bugs please

I hate to say it, but I unlocked the goal this morning by harvesting peppers :(

There is a fix for this in the works. It should be available reasonably soon for all players, though I don't have an exact date.

Ive completed all goals, unlocked Ivy's Hut and Garden - collected from them both a couple of times and stuff - so how do I get this Hot Sauce? Im trying to expand into the gap between the big brown torch thing to the north and that hole in the ground type thing - but i dunno what this'll achieve.

If anyones got any ideas??

You need to harvest a pepper to start the quests to unlock the sauce. If you're maxed on peppers you'll have to wait for the fix.

That's just normal land you're expanding to. Those landmarks will be unlocked with further updates.

Do you have to be on a certain level to unlock certain goals like Ivy's hotsause? For instance, I am on level 16 and I planted some strawberries. Old Thomas showed up and said he wanted 50 strawberries. I finished the goal, but no goal followed. Then I planted hot peppers and Ivy said she wanted 50 of them. I finished the goal but then again no goal followed. I checked the kitchen and the hot sauce is still locked. Any suggestions?

I had to harvest a second pepper then I got another goal to give Ivy 50 more peppers.

When I harvested a pepper the goal came up and I already have 50 peppers in my inventory, so I used those to finish the goal. I then finished harvesting the rest of the peppers I had and nothing happened. I will try planting and harvesting another bunch of peppers to see what happens. Thanks for the quick response.

After you give Ivy the peppers, it takes her a while to devise the Hot Sauce recipe. Check back with her once you've leveled up higher and she might have some news for you ;D

I've not got Ivy's hit sauce open, maxed out on red chilli peppers so can't open the goal. I've emailed TL, they told me to try forcing Castle story to close or delete the game to see if I could open the goal but neither worked! They have not told me they are trying to fix this. Does anyone know if they are or has anyone had the same problem and managed to sort it?

I am on Level 23 and I still cannot unlock ivys hot sauce. I am maxed on 99 hot peppers and I downloaded the latest update a couple of days ago. When I harvest hot peppers nothing is happening. Can somebody please help me. I dont know what else to do.

I thought after the harvesting of peppers you then had a goal to give Ivy rat tails, then the Hot Sauce would unlock.

Have you reached level 17 yet?

I built the hut. I had 73 Hot Peppers in inventory. I reached Lvl 17. My hot sauce is unlocked.

I haven't reached the Magic Garden yet, and I did PLANT more Hot Peppers thinking I'd have to HARVEST 1/some in order to get it to unlock, but I haven't even HARVESTED them yet and mine is unlocked.

Not sure if this matters or not, but figured I'd let you guys know what I encountered. :)

Try deleting and redownloading the game.
If you still have not gotten the goal after harvesting one more red pepper, send an email to support@teamlava.com so they can check your game.

And you've recently tried harvesting a few peppers? You need to harvest them even if you're maxed. Harvesting a few worked for me when I was maxed.

So I finally, with the help of these forums, figured out that I needed to plant and harvest more hot peppers to trigger the "Ivy's Hot Sauce" goal. So I did that, and I got the whole speech from Ivy, but now that I have plenty of peppers, there is no option to make the hot sauce in the Potion Shop. The recipe just doesn't appear in the list. Any ideas? Thanks! :)

UPDATE:
I fixed it, by simply plant a new 2 hot pepper, then I collect it shortly after by spend 9 gems (this is not a must or necessary, but I was in hurry to discover if I woud have solved),
and Ivy is magically appeared, with the goal to unlock the hot sauce!!!
Is not a problem if you have 99 hot peppers, because it works as well.

So what now? I am in the same position. Maximum peppers, level 23, unlocked the magic garden. How do I make the sauce? Hope you can help.
