Unlocked food not available in recipe book

I'm now level 22 and I just unlocked steak. It does not appear in my recipe book. There are many other recipes that don't appear either.

You need to buy the grill in order to cook the steak.

You have to have the correct appliances to cook certain foods. Stoves,Grills,Ovens. They each cook specific items.
