Dragon effects?

In the game Dragon Mother seems to be hinting that some dragons may help in more ways than just completing quests... Do any of the dragons have any kind of effects?

Some dragons earn more than others, maybe that's what she means.

I just think they want you to keep breeding in hopes you spend gold. Maybe, just maybe a certain dragon will help breed what you want but you probably have to have that exact right one for any help. and who knows which one you need. I just think they want you to spend spend spend, buy buy buy.
