3 day expansion time??

I started an expansion today and the cost was 360,000 60-some-odd maps and time was 3 days. When did they start 3 day expansions?

Gosh... have you expanded pretty much everywhere at this point?
Dread to think how much it'll cost to clear surrounding areas.

Oh and I forgot the amount of gold they wanted to speed it up is insane. I started it about 10 hours ago. Its still showing 3 days and 502 gold to speed up.

Ok, I don't like it, but I can handle the 3-day wait (think that's way too long), but 360,000 coins?? Good grief!! I might not whine and complain about it quite so much, IF we were able to use ALL of the real-estate we pay to clear, but we can't. There's a lot of space that can't be used and I find that very irritating!! I enjoy Dragon Story so much more than the other TL games I play (even tho I wish there were a few changes), but some of the pricing is just way out of line, especially when it takes sooo much to feed our dragons! I know it's gold that they want us to purchase, but I don't think price gouging is going to achieve that, at least not for long. It's a shame we are restricted to only gifting 3 neighbors a day. It would be much better to be able to gift food (even only 6, as on a small farm at the lowest price), as that would take a little pressure off the high prices and a little is better than none. Of course ... this is just my opinion.

This is normal.. Since about the last 10 expansions for me..

64 maps -> means 3 or 4 days collecting
3 days expanding wait
700 gold to speed up
price last expansion 750 000 coins

money is not the problem - but wait time of a week is frustrating and I don't think that anyone speeds it up...

Do you think 360,000 coins is a lot? Lol. My last expansion before the September update was almost 2,000,000.
360,000 is almost nothing compared to prices for cleaning foliage - 800,000 for the big tree or 990,000 for the big rock etc. Anyway, I'm sure most of the people here who have 30 habitats earn at least 1,000,000 coins every day. I'm running in surplus of 900,000 a day, honestly don't know what to spend all the money on. Have enough food and cannot expand every day either.

It takes me 2 days at the minute, I thought this was bad enough but 3 days! It's gonna take forever to get anywhere :s
