Can't buy gems even if I wanted to

SO, you already know that for the past year some of us can't purchase gems on the ipad.
I wanted the witch in fashion story and tried to purchase gems by deleting the app and reinstalling it. I get the gem box to appear ONE time. I tried to purchase gems but it was processing for over an hour with no luck. Now, there is no way I will earn enough gems to get the witch by the time you remove it from the shelf (4 days). Now what? That is not fair. Just put it in the design with no time limit for those of us that can't purchase gems.

Sounds like you are not connecting with the itunes store if you are getting the long processing.
Sync your Ipad to itunes and check and make sure you have the most current IOS version.
You can also go under settings- safari and clear cookies and Data.
You can also try going under settings-store- and logging out of your apple account, then log back in.
