Those who evolved the Pumpkin Dragon, what colour was the Evolution Den gem, please? No theories on my
part, idle curiosity.

My island is at 21-level, with a Fire/Red Dragon 7-level (renamed) Rocky and an Air/Yellow Dragon 7-level (renamed) Pavlova. Since there is only one nest, I'm patiently waiting for a Serpent to hatch and an Island to breed. Then I'll give Rocky & Pavlova starring roles.

I also have three Firestorm (hoping for Rex's Eagle challenge) renamed Moe, Larry & Curly 4-level. They might be an option, too.

You may not need my info (as it will be well after the initial 24-hr period) if I prove successful getting the Pumpkin. Poor little thing...now I understand why the other dragons would occasionally play "Kick the Pumpkin"...

Unfortunatly I missed the Witch. Now I try for Pumpkin, even if I think its looking quite ugly, so its nothing compared to the witch.

I startet breedig with my rare red/yellow, so I try with Scorpion (Ash) x Eagle (Cloud)... will not use any gold

Just got a 7 hour breeding time with a level 7 air and fire ^^ 2nd attempt, 1st was a firestorm that i got rid of by buying 20 gold. I'm level 16.... I am level 29 and tried a scorpion dragon on the left, an eagle dragon on the right, and got 1) a Firestorm dragon (surprise, surprise) and then 2) a honeybee dragon.

Then I tried Mambi, 8, Fire dragon left, Nepha, 9, Air dragon right, and got a Firestorm dragon... le sigh.

Then I tried Flambi, 8, Fire dragon left, Nepha, 9, Air dragon right, and instantly got a pumpkin dragon! I've renamed him "Jack" (har har!) and you can come by to see him if you like at Lizabeth's Lair (lizabeths_lair is my ID)

I bought some gold to expedite things so he is level 7 now. Feel free to come by and visit, and Neighbor if you need to / can't find me.

Next, I was perplexed at where to buy this elusive Everbright Lantern Flame, but you just buy it right there in the quest book for 5,000 coins, and I was given back 5,000 coins plus 5 stars.

First I tried epic eagle x lvl 9 firestorm. Got firestorm. Then I did epic air x epic fire and I'm pretty sure it's another firestorm with 12 hr breed. It's the only thing it can be with those colors and breed time. I don't think I will get this dragon since I can't even breed the rare dragons from my existing goals.

I got mine waiting to evolve my air and fire. I used firestorm epic, then scorpion level 9. Never thought that would work as the rares did not get me anything but poisons when i wanted the witch. But played around and got 7 hr breeding time. I suppose it could be something else since i am surprised by what comes out of some of the breedings. Colors just appear that are in neither of the parents. We will see

Straight to the point, I spent all the gold I've been hoarding, I had about 120 gold, now I have 4, I went through I think 6 or 7 firestorms, got 2 more scorpions, and finally I got a 7 hour breed time and knew I had the pumpkin dragon. :) , the breeding combination I used was epic red on the left, with level 7 air on the right, very happy, I got the pumpkin and the witch, now I wonder if there will be more limited edition dragons

When you have bred a Pumpkin Dragon egg, you will know immediately, because it looks like a Jack--Lantern! No need to guess incubation times whatsoever.

Also, no need to use Epics or Hybrids or Hybrid Epics. I got my egg with a Fire (8) on the left, and an Air (9) on the right. Two tries: After getting a Firestorm I got my Pumpkin Egg!

if you don't have the turkey or leopard you can try fro all three and a diamond at once if you use forest/air/fire/light elements it's a c.rap shoot but you should be able to breed one of them.

Since I have NONE of them, that's what I'm doing right now! Been breeding Seabreeze and Life for the last two days straight and I've gotten quite a good variety so far... but no Turkeys and definitely no Pumpkins (which is the one I am really hoping for and wasn't getting despite a long line of failed attempts with other breeding pairs).

Yes, i kept getting poisons. Got a familiar though, it was my first one back then. Funny thing is i took a break to try for one of the others - boo or pumpkin, i think it was boo - and then zombie was released so i tried poison and magic again... Got zombie on the first go. XD then went back to boo and got it rather quickly. Something like that. Pumpkin was a headache, all eagles and scorpions galore, but i got it.

is it just me or is this dragon almost impossible to get the second time around? I heard it wasn't that hard to get when it was first released last year, but now I almost feel like it's unbreedable. I've tried Fire and Air over a hundred times, 90% of the time I get firestorm after firestorm after firestorm, a couple times i got Eagle or Mythic and even a Scropion, but still no pumpkin. Is this even a breedable dragon anymore? I don't want to waste my time if it's impossible to get, not with all the other Halloween dragons that have come out.

Why would they? They get more money if people like us spend numerous amounts of gold thinking its attainable. It's a very sneaky and lame tactic. Just wrong and unethical.

It does if your goal is getting the limited dragons not Helios. If someone is wasting there time trying to get something that may not even be breedable when they could be trying for Spider, Skeleton or Raven then it does hurt imo.

It would be great if TL staff could come here and confirm if this is breedable so everyone see.

Choose the dragon you really like, then stick with it until you get it. If you hopping around like what you are doing now, you may end up with an empty hand.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to stick with witch for now since it has a timer. I hope I can get it in time. All of the new releases kept me jumping around. So many that I want.

Try speeding them up if you have some Gold...That might work :p
It worked for me! After 2 poisons and 1 familiar! I got Witch with about 40 Gold used :p
Pumpkin was first try after Witch for me :)
Now just testing on getting Skeleton but got 24Hrs so change plan...Gonna try for Raven LOL
