City metro original and Halloween versions

Hi,

I'm new to City story (just started playing) but having downloaded the Halloween version a few days before.

Now I'm quite confused because I thought these are two separate games! Are these two interconnected?

Will my coins and gems be used up by these two games?

I want to know so I can disable the Halloween version if ever.

Its the same game. Halloween is the updated version.

Halloween is the seasonal version with extra items and goals.
After a month or so, the game will inform you it is outdated and it will ask you to play the normal version again.
Then only the normal version will receive updates. So you best play halloween now, and when it expires play the normal version.
