Is there a way to expand the rooms you already have?

If I understand your question correctly, then no. You can replace a room with another bigger room (except for the first main room on the top left which can't be moved or put in storage). You can't knock down walls between rooms to merge them and you can't extend or enlarge a room you already have. The only room sizes you can have are the ones available to build. Hope that helps!
