Normally about 3pm PST

At least if it's Forest + Air, the longest breed time would be 10 hrs for Fruitful. If it's Fire + Forest, the longest would be ForestFire for 7 hrs (which in most cases we'll usually get Life Dragon for 3 hrs only); and lastly if it's Air + Fire, the longest would be Scorpion for 14 hours (though I'm guessing most of us would just be getting FireStorm for 12 hrs).

Anyhow it's not going to be as awful as the Witch combination that took us 21 hrs to wait if we failed to get one.

Clown is water + air . I have two and my nephew is breeding his first :) i used normal air and water, but he bred water with mist! A nice choice, really, even though he did not do it on purpose xD

No timer for me on my droid or for my husband on his iphone with new dawn edition. Such bull, I feel bad for people who dont come on the forums! I have neighbors who were still trying for witch not realizing it wasnt in the market anymore! At least this one has the goal with a time limit but it is longer then the time limit for the actual dragon, and doesn't give an exact hr/minute countdown like the timer. You think they would have learned after all the ranting and raving on the forums about the witch but I guess not. The funny thing is most people weren't mad that it was le or that it was only 5 days or even the 21hr fails, they were mad about the lack of timers for everyone!!

So with breeding time and hatch time sped up for those tries....320 gold? Why not just buy it?

I think i got a pumpkin. First try. I was waiting to get my fire to epic, and still had a few hours to wait to evolve my air dragon. So i threw my firestorm level 10 in the breeding den with scorpion level 9, and 7 hour wait time. I dont see how it could be anything else. But then again ive been surprised at what has come out of breedings in the past.

You're not doing anything wrong :) I'm level 61 and can't get a pumpkin either, keep getting firestorms...it almost seems to be completely random, I don't think there's actually any method to it. It's like the lottery. Either you have a winning ticket or you don't. Don't give up, though, keep at it! :)

I'm happy and mad at the same time - my back up game got a Pumpkin, on my second try. I wish I could switch the luck on my two games - I also got a Witch there, and can't seem to stop breeding Rares/Super Rares :) :(

We've been trying, already about 12 times for me with two level 10 (fire/air), my Android friend the same as myself, and our iPod friend got it on the first try with two level 8 (fire/air). Are we doing it wrong? Does side or level matter when breeding?

My back up game is on Android, and I've somehow gotten both there (but neither on my iOS - still trying for Pumpkin).

You aren't doing anything wrong, it's just about luck.

I'm on android. I got the witch after 18 tries and a lot of gold, haven't gotten the pumpkin yet though. I'm breeding for the 9th time I think, all firestorms and two eagles. I already had an eagle so I would have rather gotten the scorpion or honeybee with a fail but I am definitely sick of firestorms!!

okay, thank you greygull & Mlb3116, I'm glad there's a chance then. I completely understand about the firestorms, I leveled my first one and was so happy, then I began the breeding for the pumpkin, and I've had about 15 come and go. I really want a scorpion too.

LOL me too :D. I'll settle for a scorpion or honeybee, but after so many firestorms, it gets pretty old and tiring. I don't have many combinations to use, so it gets boring having to use the same dragons over and over again and then on top of that, getting the same resulting dragon of firestorms :eek:

I just got two of them in a row on my first two tries. First I used epic air and epic fire. Then I used epic firestorm and epic island. (though I was hoping it would be a clown or forestfire that time)

Names in order are Nymph, Magmi, Vesuvi, and Saphir

These numbers really baffle me. A super rare dragon, one person gets two/two, another gets three/four. Most are stuck with 12 hour breeding times for firestorms and will probably never get the pumpkin, at least without spending significant gold. I am starting to believe that luck is not 100% the correct answer.

After i got my pumpkin breeding scorpion 9 and firestorm 10, i bred my pumpkin with scorpion and got a honeybee, took honeybee to level 6 same as pumpkin is now, and bred the pumpkin 6 and honeybee6 and got another 7 hour waiting time. Must be another pumpkin. Not that i wanted one. I just want an eagle. Have 3 scorpions 1 and maybe another pumpkin on way, and a honeybee (was happy about the honeybee!).

I forced the 7 hour breeding through so i could bred them again to see if i get the eagle, and the 7 hours breed time was another pumpking. Bred the honeybee and pumpkin again and got my fist eagle. I know that everyone has one, but i didnt!. So im happy now. I have at least one of all the red and yellows now.

Really irritates me how some people can breed like three or four pumpkins Nd others cannot even get one. However, scorpions and eagles seem to spam me constantly. Also, it took me ages to have my honeybee, I hoped I could at least get a second one outta this... But nah... 1 scorpion and 4 firestorms -.-

After spending a ridiculous amount of gold (not usually a gold buyer) finally got it with Crusader/Air, I hope... Can it be anything else? Dont want to use anymore gold if I dont have to. Them Firestorms almost ****ed me, out of around 30 trys with Fire/Air 1 Eagle, 1 Scorpion, and my first Honeybee... That makes at least 27 Firestorms...It really shouldn't be this hard to get a Limited Time Dragon.

The goal in the quest book said 4 days at the start. The pop up with the timer said 80 hours.

I'm not too fond of the limited edition dragons, spent my saved gold on the witch which I didn't get and bred non stop for the pumpkin which I didn't get. I can see how they want to milk people for cash with this, but it really isn't very fun unless you happen to get lucky.

I have, on my back up games. 3 tries for Witch, 2 for Pumpkin. No gold spent there. Main game, complete opposite - lots of gold spent (I won't even add it up for myself to know), neither dragon.

Spent millions of golds for witch, took more than 40 tries with countless poisons.
I did get 2 familiars which I sold because I only keep one kinds.
Just bred pumpkin this afternoon. Took 20+ tries with mostly firestorm, 2 honeybees and 1 scorpion.
Since I never got scorpion this is my first one very excited.
Oh and pumpkin of course :)

That would be great, but how many will keep trying if it is still so hard to get. 12 hr wait time for firestorm, and even longer for the witch default.
It may just irritate more people, then do good.

I would not mind to keep trying for the pumpkin a few more days, and maybe even the witch a couple of times. But I find the baby pumpkin more unusual and cuter, so I'll settle for it. :p

So, i decided i couldn't take the risk of it turning in to something else ( have a bad experince with a tusker who magically turnd in to a mist :( ) used some gold and for sure there was a pumpkin egg, tried one more time with red+ yellow and another 7 hours, so i got two in a row....

Speeded up again and tried one more time ( just to se if this is some sort of god bug) but now 12 hours so no more gold spending for me. I'm happy though got two pumpkins and i though i wouldn't get it at all....

The timer on the witch started at 104 hours while the timer on the pumpkin started at 80 hours... If I had to guess the pumpkin will be around the additional 24 hours, so like 13 hours 53 minutes from now... just a guess.
I did finally get the pumpkin breeding on one of my accounts last night, too bad the goal was already gone... anyone know what the reward was for completing the goal?

The reward was minimal. I accidentally spent 5,000 gold in that goal, but I don't mind xD i have almost 6 million anyway. I wonder how long it will stick around indeed. If I'd known this I would not have woken up at 6,30 AM and spent 13 gold, lol.
