Buying new land? [Archive]

I don't understand how to buy more land. Each time I request a permit from my neighbors, nothing happens. Are they not responding to my request? Or how am I supposed to expand my land?

I'm with you - only I can't figure out how to even get permits. Could someone respond please!

Click the expansion sign and you will get a pop up telling how many coins and how many permits are required. If you have enough of both, you can hit expand.
If you are short expansions, click the ask friends button, they you can ask neighbors for the permits.

Once you receive all the permits and you have enough coins, you can expand.

Does anyone know how much the very last parcel of land costs to buy? I assume you can't buy anymore than the original 20 or 25 that is what I can see so far..
