Help!!!!

I'm having trouble with my ipod not turning on. It is dead and when I plug it to charge it shows the
loading sign like it's going to turn off and it gets stuck and later it dies.
I need help from someone that knows what to do.:confused:

You've gotta give it about 5-10 minutes plugged in to charge the battery to the point where it can boot up. At 10 minutes, it should give you 10-20%, so then you can turn your iPod on.

you know when your turning off your ipod it has a loading sign right okay when i plug it in it goes automatically to that sign and doesn't turn on at all, it always does that and i don't know what to do please help,i know i wasn't clear the first time sorry
