Request Parts Delay?

I sent a request for a shamrock to every one of my 103 neighbors. I only needed 3 of them so I thought at least 3 people on my neighbor list would respond pretty quickly. It's been about 38 hours now & still no response. Not even one person sent me the shamrock that I requested. Does anyone know if the game delays gifts on purpose, or if it takes a long time for the request to show on your neighbors news tab?

You're only allowed to receive 20 gifts and 20 requests per day. If you sent a request to all of your neighbors, you've most likely clogged up your request system. Don't send any requests for the next few days and you should see them coming back in. You shouldn't send out more then 25-30 requests a day going forward, otherwise you may clog up your request system again.

Either your request for parts full or they all reject you.
You have to request every 24 hrs else it get reset to zero request.

Or they may have sent it but you may not be able to receive it you already accepted twenty.
