Cannot get anything out of storage once it's in there!

I have purchased items which are now in storage. I have just expanded but it won't let me take these things out of storage to put them on the new land.

Can anyone help?

Have you cleared your new piece of land and removed trees and/or water?

Try restarting your device.
Is it all items or just certain items or all items?

It's all items - I put everything in there to rearrange my town and now cannot get anything back out

Just done a reboot and it seems to have worked. Thanks for your help :-)
