Create a Building Contest!

To be a building or not to be a building? This week you get to answer by creating your own building! You can hand draw it, you can use a paint program or you can even make it out of arts and crafts stuff lying around your house.

Contest and Rules:
-Create your building using a computer paint program, or hand drawn, or make it with whatever you have lying around your house and take a picture of it.
-You must name your building.
-You must give your building a short explanation/story of its design. Why is it designed this way? Where did it originate from? Can it do anything special?
-After you have created your building, take a picture and save it to your computer, then upload the image to Imgur.com (or any image hosting website (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_hosting_service))
-Once the image is uploaded to Imgur.com post the "BBCode (message boards & forums)" link.
-Only 1 entry per person.
-Your entry must be posted no later than Tuesday September 25th by noon PDT.

Prizes:
-2 Winners will be selected in 3 different categories for a total of 6 winners.
-The 3 categories will be, Most creative name, Most creative explanation/story, and Most creative building overall with 1 runner up for each.
-3 First place winners will win 50 Gems to the game of their choice (250 Gold for Dragon or Monster Story).
-3 Runners up will receive 25 Gems to the game of their choice (125 Gold for Dragon or Monster Story).
-You can select any 1 TeamLava game to send the Gems to.

Our example is named "The Crying Mushroom".
Story: It's haunted by the forest gnomes errry day. They run around and tease The Crying Mushroom for being the largest mushroom in the forest. Sometimes the gnomes try to eat him, but fail because their teeth are too small and just leave scarring white freckles on its cap causing him to cry:

"Uno's home for the hallow spirits"
It is built as a rest home for ghosts, vampires, witches, and bizarre creatures who visit earth on their holiday on Halloween �� Since the spirits don't want any disturbance during their stay (including trick or treating from the children), the home is magically made to be invisible to humans.

*RIC = Rest In Comfort

Ooops, I forgot to mention "Nobody is aware of its existence, let alone why it was designed this way. (also, the spirits don't like questions :D) "

Name:

"Nike Government 1340"

Story:

The first Nike's Government Building. Yes, I know it's huge. It's like a shoe and all of the best shoes've been made there, also the birds were wearing Nike.
This is an old picture, a Polaroid, so rare, it's special ... from 1340s. There was a road that is crossing the building. The world was different, not like now.
I remember these times ... So beautiful times...

Name : Pumpkin Fire

Story : One day there were two soft pink aliens want to eat a big pumpkin. Then the aliens first approached the pumpkin. After that, the a pumpkin was spitting fire everywhere and the only alien hiding behind a bush.

Name: "Upalicious"
Story:
A scientist name Dr. Kerr from 3012, always dreamed of making his house float. However, no one respected him, so he built a secret house and after 2 years old experimenting and construction, he was able to make this house. This house is on the 300th floor on a building in 3012 called "Skyriser", and the elevator can bring you to the top and into the building.This house is hand-drawn, and I got inspired from the movie "Up", which is pretty old, but it's still one of my favorite movies for imagination. The house is "carried" by balloons, and it has a coaster ride inside so it can be easy for people to go from here to there. It's made from glass, so you can see inside, and with special solar powered fins, you can control it from the inside and move it around.

Name: Pumpi-Home.

Story: The story is about two kids were lost in a scary creepy forest. They were very scared and started to imagine scary things like: big evil trees moving, black bats trying to attack them and scary ghosts moving around. They freaked out and started to run away till they reached somewhere shiny and bright! It looked like a huge pumpkin smiling to them. They went inside it, felt safe and warm! They felt also like it's their own home. And all of their scary imaginations are gone! So the two kids decided to call it our "Pumpi-Home".

Topsy Tilt Tower
This is the Topsy Tilt Tower! A long while ago, all of these buildings were the same size. Somehow the blue building was CURSED!! Every year the building GROWS a new floor! They blame it on the construction workers. The 3rd year it grew, it had bent the other buildings so they look like what they do now!! The Blue building will never stop growing, and who said the construction workers were....normal?

Name: The Flower-Buiding
Story:
At the garden of FlowerVille, there wa the most tallest flower in the whole garden. To humans, the tallest flower just looks like an ordinary flower but if you look closely its one of the tallest flower-building.The building has pixies that work in it. They protect the garden from any kind of danger. Butterflies are one of their best friends beacause when butterflies sip from the flowers, they give energy to the pixies to do anything. Bees are their enemy, not just the ordinary bees, these bees are the ones that can destroy the whole garden. In order to protect the garden from bees, the butterflies' wings can defeat the bees beacause of its brightness

*The flower-buliding in human life for me is its like a "secret organization" that protects the city. Here the garden (city) the flower-building is the one who protects the garden.

NAME: Dreamy IceCreamy Palace
Up APON the WhipCream Clouds Sits A palace of Icecream Homes Lives within em' we Do not know, but yes they're happy to live in a Wonderful Soft Dreamy And Delicious home. One will only dream to live in this Icecream world filled with Many great Flavors.
I chose this type of building because I wanted to give a unique difference.

Name: Sunny Bay
Story: Actually these are photos I found in my grandma's album. She told me the story behind it. She said that Sunny Bay is known for it's childish look but is also known frightening feeling. She said that everynight there was someone walking in it's wooden stairs. They said it was a daycare center before and now it's a haunted house. They said there was one person living there, she said that it was an old man. Bats come there every night. It looks very cute and lovely, right??? Don't get too affected by it's cuteness, you'll die if you do. My grandma told me.
(This story is not true. The grandma part is also not true.)

The Friendly Mushroom House

this Mushroom House was made by forest elves and magical fairies. It was made for humans and animals to stay if they got lost in the forest. Many people and animals stayed ever since it was made. Everybody who stays says it's a wonderful experience and always stay happy after going there. Inside is some tea that is magically made and a magic map that shows you how to get home.

Name Building: 5 Stars Inn, Desolate's Lamp of Hope

Story: Did you ever think about what happen when a Magical Lamp, the home of any Genie, breaks into only pieces, or it's atacked for desert's Beetles? Anyway, when a lonely and homeless Genie is lost and about to leave away any hope... Well, that's the reason of the Lamp's Inn! it can be found around an Oasis, and if it is still having the "Inn Sign" it's free for you to rest and stay. Because, of course, they can grant wishes, but not a home for themselves!

Name:True Lifesaver "TL" INC
Story: This is a place where (seemingly) ordinary people gathered to create new and virtual world, so each of us can relax and take its own decisions in creating our dreamed shop, raise pets or even the dragons (how cool is that). The building has two main sections. In the "L" section the real, hard work is done, artists and graphic designers work on new additions, so our little part of the world will look just how we want it. The "T" part is a relaxing spot, place to look for inspirations, or just to wind up a little bit on the terrace. The blue part is a place where bureaucracy, promotion, telecommunications, market research and more take place, the Factory on the other hand (obviously) is for transfering the ideas into finalized objects/applications.
Special Ability: The statue of Stormie keeps an eye on the building and by glowing in the night gives a neighborhood good lighting in the night. He also listens to all requests and once in a month chooses one and makes it come true. So go and tell him what would you like to see in your own little world.

P.S. How I wish Stormie really would do that. Never lose hope ;)
