How do you talk to ppl in home design story?

How do you talk to people that visit your house? I seem to be the only one with this problem and I'm not sure why...plz help!

Do you mean the people that are walking around your house that have a bubble with words over their heads sometimes? If so, you can't talk to them. If you're talking about your neighbors, or any community members, you just hit "post" on the bottom left hand part of your screen when you're in their house (that's their wall).
