Using somebody's suggestion I got an infinity yesterday on the second try with a level 10 Fairy named Breeze and a level 6 Wizard named Cepha. I used a different level 10 fairy the first time and then switched to this and next thing I know I have a 40 hour breed time.

Hmm, Water and Forest just keeps giving me Atlantis dragons. I shouldn't complain, but it just seems weird. Its supposed to be super rare. Seems like the Mermaid dragon will be more rare, at least on my island!

I saw someone posted about breeding 2 Atlantis dragons for it, so I tried and it worked. Now got a level 7 coral called Coral and level 7 wizard called Hydra. So gonna see what comes out lol

yes it's possible :D the serpent dragon has the same elements as the mermaid dragon has so you'll definetly have the chance to breed one with the eagle and serpent combo :)

Serpent + Eagle is a good combo too. It gave me my Diamond. But I don't think it'll do for Mermaid because Mermaid only has 2 colors.

TL's choice is absolutely awful (not choice of dragons, choice to make non-seasonals limited) and I'm very sad to see this and the other two go.

Never know a game to treat its players differently ( some get quests, some don't, some get arena, some don't, some have to pay more for things etc etc etc). Do understand why they don't want to increase habitats, they want us to upgrade and use 500 gold and buy stables but seriously, some of us like multiples of our favorites so after 3 new dragons come out we should get increase of 1 habitat. Also why are so many dragons being removed???? Can't think why except maybe to make us buy gold and buy or speed up? Is this really the case? Think it must be, lost so much respect for this game and if things continue as they are then lots of people will give up completely I suspect.

This is seriously annoying. I've been trying for this forever knowing some day it'd come eventually. That's the Zen pleasure of Dragon story.

Until they started randomly removing dragons. Last week I had a gut feeling they'd aim for this one next and went at it hard core. 10 islands, some serpents and no mermaid.

Today I find out it is indeed the next target. Really disliking this game right about now.

Taking away dragons with little notice like this is making this game stressful. I've been okay with the steady increase in price and breeding times but this may be the straw for me.

It really does take the urge to buy gold away... you would have thought the opposite ... but I used to buy gold to speed breed... never bought gold to flat out purchase a dragon as they are ridiculously priced... I would never buy 2000 gold in one sitting but 100 here or there was an option...now ... no way this is stupid .... especially since breeding is harder and harder and I am running out of room with no crafting trading still... TL is bound and determined to make people mad with these new all of the sudden limited dragons... new dragons cost wayy to much and can't be bred....

I got about 7 which are good for trades with the short 12 hours to breed and evolve... Island sucks! 1 small gem < 1 large blue gem 1 large green gem and a mystery box, island can't compete with that lol

I feel the same way. Never cared for Mermaid and not worth the 20 hr Island fails. For this reason, I won't intentionally go after Atlantis either. I still have Aether, Mindvolt, and Planet to get, all of which at least have shorter fail times for their commons, unless I hit nothing but Wizards and Titans...

I couldnt agree more. Since I already missed clown and now im gonna miss mermaid too, there's no need to speed the game. There's a huge difference between missing 0 dragons and missing 1. But is there a difference between missing 1 dragon and missing 5 dragon? I dont think so. Im not gonna spend hundreds of dollars per month on a game when it's creators dont respect their customers. I would rather donate more to animal shelters.

So far I have not spent a dollar on the game. There are so many dragons and not enough habitats. New habitats cost a bomb ! but still we get good earnings by keeping the high paying dragons. I just spent 18 mil for Cosmic and Mythic x 2 Habitats !

I'd say at least 2 days. I'm on android so don't have a timer. But its mostly around the time where the next dragon comes in.. thats how I remember it anyway.

Though I wanted a second I really don't want to wait in total 88 hours between den and nest before trying for mermaid again t.t plus I was finally evolving my first diamond to epic...o the cruel irony. ..

It was over 3 days when I opened my game up this morning.
According to Sehenas timer it's 3 days, 2hrs. Although she said she hadn't had the pop up yet to alert her to the exact time left, but I imagine it's pretty accurate.

I am not a happy camper. This is one of those super hard to get dragons and the waiting time on the resulting failure dragons is awful! I don't understand why older ones are now suddenly being taken out of our breeding pool. When we said wow there's so many dragons now, we didn't mean oh please make it so we can no longer try for the ones we have wanted forever and clearly need more time to get!

The boosted breed is very subjective. I have it but don't use it because most people were just getting commons. and, I don't want to waste 50k in apples. I did try it once and got coral, so never tried it again.

I am missing so many dragons at this point, do I NEED them all, absolutely not, but I am finding this game getting boring when my primary account is missing mermaid, medusa, dark angel, eclipse...no arena, no quests..yes, big time! I play many many times a day, I occasionally (used to be constantly) buy gold. My reward? Getting almost none of the newer dragons, losing chance 4 missing dragons and a "treasure" option that is a joke of 150 gold, etc for $9.99. Meanwhile my other account that I almost never use has arena, always new dragons bred & 100 gold for $0.99!! Ok, now that I had my rant I can go back 2 my usual positive self ;0). Maybe.

Outrageous. This dragon isn't even seasonal. What's the point of making a dragon that isn't even seasonal limited? Oh, wait. I know! MONEY. nope, you can't get a pure element from breeding diamond with a hybrid. the only possible outcomes from diamond + atlantis are island, serpent, atlantis, mermaid and mercury :)

Water should NOT be an outcome of water forest. It is a mermaid. 99% sure. But then there is that 1% with messed up breeding.
