Room Expansion Bug

I'm stuck on Expanding Your Circle. I bought a room expansion when I got the goal and it's not counting it. This can't be I bought it when I got the goal not before I got it. How can this be? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this so I can complete the dang quest?

Try restarting your device and make sure you have completed any other tasks that are with this goal.
Also I believe the goal does not complete until your expansion is done.
