I dont think it matters how many cash registers you have. maybe move your merchandise a little closer to dressing rooms and mirrors? if you want to sell everything you have, block your door for a few days then open it again to sell everything. if you want to keep certain clothes, you could block them from the customers.

Maximize the use of your floor space!
Your have very few stacks for a store that size. Store the extra cash registers. They don't increase sales; in fact, the 7 extra cashiers reduce the number of shoppers in your store down to 20 from the maximum 27!
Wall mirrors cost less than floor mirrors and don't take up space you can use for stacks. Also, the wall mirrors all count toward customer satisfaction even if some are blocked.
Some catalog items yield a higher or faster profit than others, but you'll need to put pencil to paper: subtract the total sales price of an entire order from the cost; then divide the result by the number of hours it takes to fill the order. Stock up on those items with the highest hourly profit.
DO NOT BLOCK THE DOOR unless you're prepared for instant sellout, loss of investment, or other erratic results. The game responds rather unpredictably to blocked doors.

Unfortunately I'm not a rich fashion player either but I found that if you only order items which give you 5 a piece, you earn a lot more money. Once you stock any 2 dollar items though you don't earn as much.
I think the clothes get sold off the racks faster than counters as well.
Items you place closer to the door/ register also seem to sell faster.

But those are only my theories...

From the picture, the 'effective shopping area' covers the whole shop. Effective shopping area here I refer to essential items in selling like mirrors, dressing rooms, cashiers and of course racks and tables. Since your door is unchanged, if you keep effective shopping area in just the upper half part, customers do not need to walk far away to get it and the sales will boost up. Of course I know the shop will look weird to squeeze all things in smaller area. So whether to take this approach is still up to u.

I am not sure your levels. If you haven't unlocked all slots (22), I will still suggest you to order short-hours catalogs (which may be lower-yield). It helps to level up faster and get more slots. Once you get there, it's just up to you whether you go for $5 item which usually take longer hours.

Btw, you have enough dressing rooms and mirrors. You can even cut down 3 - 4 dressing rooms if you want to shrink the shopping area and place racks near dressing rooms while tables near mirrors.

This one will earn better. If you satisfy the earning then just let it be here. What I suggest previously in fact looks like

The grey area is what I refer to effective shopping area. Again, the shop design may not look good.

Yes, should be a better one. My shop is not like decorated like my diagram. Boosting up sales is not my concern so posting it won't help.

In my opinion, the number of customer depends on how many space you have AROUND your counters and racks. My suggestion is you split the counters into 2 rows and each of your rows [both racks and counters is 2 steps separated ^^ have fun :D

No cashier available, I guess. You should put only 1 cashier only and don't block it ^^
