How long have you been playing?!

I'm just curious as to how long some of you have been farming. It's always fun to visit the farms on the higher levels and drool over all the cute stuff they have and I'll never get!

I've been playing for a little over a week and I'm on level 25 with a decent farm. I think I'm at 17x17, and I have several buildings. I know for some people it's more about the challenge of making all the levels as fast as they can, but for me it's about enjoying the game and having fun with all the "props". I've meet some really sweet neighbors, too. Stop in and say howdy if you get the chance!

You can level up quickly to 96, but you will need 400,000 XP to get to 97, & each level thereafter.

ROFL pinkster!!! I'm like Snapenath, playing since the end of January 2012. I tried to play in December 2011 on my Android but I couldn't play consistently, so only really started when I got my iPad 2.

Almost 6 months. Level 97, have Vineyars, mansion & other goodies in storage, to maximize crop space. $12,000,000 in cash hor Halloween goodies. Only buying store stuff, tired of getting trinkets for 24 gems from the boxes.

I've been playing 7 months - level 96, 24X24.

Once I finally got to maximum expansion, I stopped monocroping. Now my farm looks like a farm.

Although I might change it a bit for Halloween.

Later on, I may go for different farm themes. A prairy farm theme to use up the aloe. A mideival farm theme if I buy a castle. An island farm to use up the bananas, coconuts, and mangos. But, always a real farm, not this fantasy stuff that Team Lava keeps heaping on us. Although (sigh), I am planting the idiotic fields of onion rings and cotton candy trees. (sigh)

But, no flying pigs or unicorns. None.

About 2 weeks. I've been aggressively pursuing level 18 so I can plant pumpkins before Halloween. I'm ALMOST there (just a few XPs away ... Or, a few hundred). I have 23 neighbors that I faithfully water & gift every day. My favorite part of the game is seeing other people's creativity on their farms. In fact, it makes me sad to see one block of plowed fields & nothing planted... Today I saw a plowed expanse of land with a single square crop which was a withered pumpkin :(

about 4 weeks, but my coins and XP seem to be harder to come by, seems also I only have a few of my 58 neighbors watering and bless them they do water every day, a lot of them do gift even if they don't water. I'm on level 36. I didn't realize you could have sooooo many neighbors. I really do live in the country and thought 58 was like a whole neighborhood. I saw someone posted they had well over 100. How many can you have? It takes me 30 minutes in the mornings just to water everyone, geez if I had close to 200.

I believe you can have 2000. Can't imagine having anywhere near that number! I have no more than the minimum required to fully expand in each game which is 55 in the games I play. Most ppl stop watering after a while. If you want all nbrs who water back you'll need to keep deleting ppl and adding new ones as you go along.

Oh yes, it does take time - have over hundred and yes it is about 80/hour to water, if I try to do it fast. But it is relaxing, so I don't mind.

I also find watering relaxing, I water and gft daily, don't understand why everyone doesn't. I have a nbr that has 1361 nbrs, gotta believe he doesn't wtr them all....lol
