How to fix the changed prices?

I know there is a post somewhere about this but does anyone know if this is a glitch or a permanent change as dish/drink and expansion prices have doubled, some neighbors of mine said theirs was fixed but mine are still showing doubled price..
I would email teamlava but i don't know what to include in the email..
I really do not hope gem prices go up....
