Can't move cat palm

I have a cat palm that won't move. I click on it and nothing happens. I can't store it or move it. I've tried twice reinstalling to no avail. Is this a known problem? I play on iPad 2. Thanks! I really want to move my pool but I'm stuck because of this.

Wanted to update on what I did. I was able to store it finally. If I held my finger on the cat palm for about 5-10 seconds, I could get the option bar to light up. The minute I removed my finger, the options disappeared. So I had to use two hands, one to hold down on the palm and the other to hit the store button. It took me three tries but I finally got rid of it.
