Question about: A Friend responded to your request msg

I have been requesting parts from nbrs and I see this msg comes up on my News Tab. (A Friend responded to your request for help. Why not pay them a visit) But when I add the number of times this msg comes up with the parts that I have received the Total doesn't match.

Example I request bricks for the Bread oven. I might see this msg 10 times but only have gotten 4 bricks.

What is going on? What happen to the other 6 bricks I should have gotten?

I agree that this is probably glitchy. As far as Bakery goes I requested parts 2 days ago and got a few of these messages, which makes sense. However in my restaurant it's been weeks since I've made a request yet this appears in my newsfeed. Fishy, fishy.
