Do parents disappear when you breed them?

I always thought that by breeding two dragons, the parents disaapear when the new egg is formed. Am I wrong? Thanks!

The parents do not disappear. They automatically return back to the habitat you have them in.

When you a breeding a dragon they will be in the breeding den, and you are unable to feed or move them.

Lol been leveling various dragons to epic levels thinking they will disappear. Slow learner considering I'm level 40 now. Lmao!
