How to delete constructed items???

Does anyone know how to delete the items which need building. I bought a room expansion without realising that it needs building. How do I delete it and replace it with a room expansion which is already built?

I don't think you can undo an expansion in progress. You'll just have to build it and store the room if you don't want to use it yet
