Gold not increasing!

So i used 20 gold to purchase the Netherworld Portal about a week ago, taking me down to 94 Gold. I just noticed today that I'm still on 94 Gold, even though I receive gold daily from my neighbors. I should have at least 20 more than that by now.

Anyone else have a similar problem, and a fix?

Are you hitting the accept button for your gold before you return gold to your neighbors?
