Got a shell lizard when I should have gotten medusaur?

I bred a Sea Buffalo with a Palmwing and got an 18 hour breeding time. Hooray I thought that's a medusaur!! When breeding finished I got a shell lizard which I'm sure is 20 hours breeding time not 18! Has this happened to anyone else? Or have I got the breeding times wrong? :( thanks.

Hmm thats strange.
Firstly, 18 hrs could've been medusasaur OR griffin. However I got this medusasaur from this combo too...
Secondly, are you sure you checked the time right after the egg was placed on the nest?

I have never had the breeding time incorrect. Possibly you just read it incorrectly.

Yup I definitely checked straight away because I wanted to check the reference thread to work out what monster I'd gotten before they'd finished breeding :(

Developers have been making changes to the game. Probably they've changed the breed time on shell lizard to 18 hrs.
