There was a a goal for the Bread Machine that started similar to this. And I just looked - Bread Machine under appliances - locked by goal!

When you buy items, make sure you place all of the items you have stored first, then buy new ones.

I hope that the Kindle Fire users get goals soon too! My daughters both have BS on KFs, and mine is Android, so of course now they are complaining that it's not fair!

But, I explained to them that these things take time. If you write a book in English, then have to write it in French, it takes time. Then you have to write it in German too? More time. Hopefully TL will work on KF next, and the KF OS is an Android-like system, so maybe it won't take too much more development to get the goals working on KF.

I just noticed, too, that you don't need to tap on every tip, xp star or tipping star for them to be collected (if you don't wanna wait for them to auto-collect). You just tap on one, and all the ones that are close by will all be collected.

Used to play BS on my ipad but stop playing since I dont have wifi all the time. Started a new bakery on my android phone (now level 91) and was always so pissed android was left behind BUT NOT ANYMORE!! I hope they bring back all the items that was given to Apple users and bring them to iOS platform. <3<3<3

On that note.... Thanks so much Team Lava for the Android update!!! I can see my 'gift' inventory now, and there are goals and new appliances and orders to get and make, and my stars and coins all go away in the area near where I tap (rather than having to tap each one individually). I'm so excited!! Thank you so much!!

When I used to play on my mom's iPad, I'd see all that stuff and wish I had it...and wish and wish...now I have it...thanks for sending some love Android's way! :D

The only thing that's different that I don't like is that when I place an order on an appliance and tap that item, I have to scroll back over to that item when I go to the next same appliance. For instance, it used to be, I could tap the drink machine>scroll to Latte>tap to order>tap the next drink machine>tap Latte>tap next drink machine>tap Latte. I never had to 're'scroll...now it resets the order area back to the first item everytime, and I have to scroll over again each time. ...I can live with it, since we have all these awesome new updates...it was just nice to be able to save a little time that way. Again...with all the new stuff we did get, it's ok.

I needed to start baking 1 peach cobbler and 1 espresso. I am baking Red Berry Delights and Candy Cookies so allocated 1 appliance slot to this. I started my peach cobbler, and when it was done I served it. Then I started the espresso. I finished that set of tasks and wnen the next one came up it said to serve the peach cobbler and to server the espresso. It didn't count the peach cobbler I just served. So I have to bake another. Oh well, at least it wasn't 18 2-day pumpkin pies.

No, Androids hadn't been updated for a while so we could only instantly finish a single recipe for 5 gems. In this version, the cost has changed. I have a 3 hr recipe with 2:40 to go and can finish for 2 gems, an 8 hr recipe with 17 min left I can finish for 4 gems, and a 22 hr recipe with 6 hrs left I can finish for 11 gems. Not sure how they determine the cost. But at least we can't instantly finish all recipes.

Youre game was probably 'Out of sync'. Thats when you lose the last progress and thats why it didn't count. Happends often in TL games. It happend with me on the second 'add a friend' goal. Ugh annoying if it happends though.

They continue as you can work them. Some involve inviting a new neighbor, which you have to wait for them to accept. Others require cooking dishes with different times (I'm doing some 8 hour ones now) - so you either have to wait until they're done, or speed up with gems.

just say again and again to report further information.

Also have a bunch of Christmas and Valentines recipes locked by goals. Will we soon get goals to unlock them, or will they be unlocked for us? Or will they remain locked in our cookbooks forever as a constant reminder of what we missed in the past as we watched our iOS neighbors bake them while we asked to be able to have the goals so we can also bake them?

With goals, once someone unlocks a recipe, I believe it doesn't go away. And thay know when the goals will go away and can work to unlocking the recipe by that time.

My phone has also frozen a few times since the update. It didn't before. If you wait long enough, sometimes it unfreezes. I've also gotten a couple of force closes, and wasn't getting that before the update.

Yeah, the beginner goals aren't worth it, but they included the bread oven in these goals and I want that. Eventually we'll get goals with better rewards.

After you buy the 17 tiles, you'll need to buy 10 more. I placed yellow tiles (200 coins) since I only had 1 in storage, vs 381 white tiles.

To clarify, we got the goal system and a subset of the goals released. Didn't get the goals for Christmas, Valentines Day, and the World Games. So there's still a lot we missed out on until they release those goals, if they do.

In the future we should start getting goals at the same time as iOS. Not sure how they're going to handle previous goals we didn't get. Next set of goals might be for Halloween.

Certainly hope so because if these are any indication of previous goals, we've really been missing out! These are pretty awesome. It's amazing how one component can make such a huge difference in the overall experience. It's like playing a whole new game.

Yeah that's what I did. Put on the love potion, the carrot cakes and the choc cherry trifle well before you get to those goals. Unlike some of the earlier goals, where you have to "prepare and serve", these later goals are only that you have to "serve" - so you can have them cooking and just don't serve them until you get that goal. Remember, the long stuff like Love Potion will keep for a while after it has finished cooking.

No, Androids hadn't been updated for a while so we could only instantly finish a single recipe for 5 gems. In this version, the cost has changed. I have a 3 hr recipe with 2:40 to go and can finish for 2 gems, an 8 hr recipe with 17 min left I can finish for 4 gems, and a 22 hr recipe with 6 hrs left I can finish for 11 gems. Not sure how they determine the cost. But at least we can't instantly finish all recipes.

Not only are the goals fun but I think it was a smart marketing strategy on TL part, so high-5 to them. I think this will encourage new players to continue to explore the potential of this game and to have fun. Hopefully we will see less people quitting or taking long days off of playing.

Cranberry cider and Love Muffins are from Christmas and Valentines goals. Androids didn't get those goals or the World Games goals, but we got all the locked decorations and recipes from those goals.

There's a thread somewhere where you can send an email to support@teamlava.com and they'll unlock the Podium cake and any locked World Games decoration that you bought.

goals should be for all levels. Make sure you have the most current bakery update for your tablet.

my goal clipboard has disappeared on all my devices, I use a Google Nexus 7(4.1 jellybean), an LG-L55C smartphone(2.3 gingerbread). and i have a generic off brand Chinese tablet.(4.1 ICS) i completed the goals on my generic tablet, clipboard disappeared, went to my phone and noticed it was gone as well, then on my nexus 7 its gone too and i haven't completed the goals on them.

Just compare what you are earning now when away to what you used to earn before ...... If its not the same then you should email tl and others should too

If you are android you should do the manual update through google.... If you are kindle you don't have goals... If your iOS you don't have goals at the momment

No, these are request you get from neighbors, you will not actually see them. Once you have gotten enough, your goal will be checked off.

I love the new update. Love goals. However, I'm stuck. Goal is to ask a friend to b an assistant. They replied. But what now? I've asked 5 diffones. Says to visit them. ?

there must be a problem or maybe they helped u out with something else..try sending to other ppl.. this goal needs the help of only one person.. a friend cmpleted it n i just dent out requests..

My goal clipboard disappeared after completing the lamour challenge. Is that supposed to happen?

This has happened to me as well. I recieved "Helpful Jean-Pierre" to put in my bakery but "Helpful Loretta" is still locked and I have no more goals to complete. I also noticed that all of the holiday goal food was showing last week (but locked) and it is gone now too. Is this a glitch? Am I supposed to have more goals? Also the 2 goal breads; the Minche and L'amours special is gone even though I just unlocked them and baked them a couple days ago. Where's my stuff going?

I'm assuming the Podium Cake and cookbook position reset are bugs. There's almost always problems with most of their releases. It doesn't appear they put as much emphasis on testing and quality as I would like.

I honestly thought the annoyance with the cookbook was deliberate especially as RS now shares that very same annoyance lol. I have to say that's the most annoying thing in the game and like others have wasted money on things I didn't want to cook , not a good thing when I've just expanded and have very little money :(

However on the positive side I LOVE the fact we can pick up multiple tips now on BS & RS please hurry and do the same with FS I've thrown: away clothes on that because I was collecting likes lol. Yeah the goals are low level but I'm sure they'll get harder after we do them and they don't exactly take long do they? Talking of goals how many of you finished the bread oven ones? Think the last was cooking and serving heart bread , which I finished before the update and jean-pierre and the lady were in my inventory. Now I don't have any goals or the little clipboard in the top corner of my screen. So was that it? Or should I be showing more goals? Please don't tell me we'll only get random goals every now and again after waiting all this time for them. Pet shop story seemed to always have goals when my daughter played that on her android phone.

I posted the part about the cookbook position reset before RS was released. I was disappointed to see it implemented in RS also. It could be deliberate, and it really doesn't make sense to do that. Unless they want us to make mistakes and cook the wrong dish so that we can instantly finish them with gems or lose the coins to start the right dish.

Those were from the Christmas and Valentines goals. I doubt they'll unlock them for us. Possibly during the Christmas and Valentines seasons, but they'll most likely come out with new goals.

Yes. You should have jean-pierre in your decorations tab. And that's it for now.

Just updated BS from the Google Play store and I have not been able to play at all... After reading all 22 pages of this thread, I really hope that its just the developers working on things on the back end...

Can a moderator comment or provide any update on when this will be fixed and cleared for play?

...also seriously can we fix the walking animation time for the customers.... it looks so drab watching walk as if they are stuck walking through molasses.

Right now you can't. Everyone's Loretta is locked, even those on iOS who unlocked her last May. My email to support@teamlava.com was sent to engineering, maybe if others continued to email support they'll finally getting around to fixing the issue and unlock her again.

I've had this the past few days on and off (uhh... was hoping this update would fix this) so it can't just be the update. It happens to all bakery's I visit (during my tipping rounds etc.), I usually just exit the game and clear cache if it's not already clear. If that still doesn't sort out the invisibility I just re-install.

There are no goals for Android on Restaurant Story. Just wait for goals to be released. My guess is we might get them in a few weeks for Halloween.

Yep, same problem here. My goal clipboard disappeared after making the stone ground miche challenge.

I just completed the L'amour bread goal and was really disappointed to see that that's it for the Android goals. Will there ever be anymore, TL mods?

Gotta say, after having played BS for six months earlier this year and then getting locked out of my account when I switched to a new phone, that's when I started this new account (didn't want to go through the bull of getting Customer Service to restore access to my original account on my new phone). I was on Level 93 in BS previously, and 80-something in RS, so I wasn't very happy about the thought of starting all over in either game. Really, though, I got sick of my old Storm8 ID, so this was a blessing in disguise. However, I can't write my new ID on anyone's wall because the TL filter incorrectly thinks there's something inappropriate about it. What the heck is so inappropriate about "WittyKitty103"?! But, whatever, I figured out a way around it.

I digress...

So I played Farm and City, and finally decided to download BS again last week, and I was very excited to see that we Android users now have goals. However, I seem to have finished all the goals, and I'm anxiously awaiting others.

Do we have a reason to be excited, TL moderators? Please tell me we do. Thanks for implementing the goals at all for us. That was a nice change.

However, I am very vehemently opposed to the exorbitant increase in expansion prices. When I last played BS in July, my bakery was much bigger by the time it took $2M coins to expand. But, I'm willing to bet there are several angry threads about this subject that I have yet to search for.
