Need mystic map desperately!

Hi, newbie here. I understand that someone must gift you a mystic map, but I can't figure out how to make that happen. Also, I get. Messages that someone has visited me and left a gift, but I don't know how to see what they left or how to access! Help please!!

Only gold can be gifted, and only to 3 people a day. You have to send requests out for maps. This thread has excellent info on it :) http://forums.teamlava.com/showthread.php?33693-Dragon-Story-Guide-FAQ When you click on an expansion, yellow squares will appear. When you tap on them, it will bring up a pop up, providing info (cost, maps needed). If ou don't have the amount of maps needed to do that expansion, there will be an "Ask Friends" button, where you can send requests for maps. Try not to send more then 25 requests per day, as more might clog up the system, causing delays in you receiving the maps.
