When I was setting up my ipod as a back up device for the games, I had just finished eating a baked potato, so I just threw tatar down as my storm ID for that device.
When hubby and I were discussing names, I was just joking and said how about Tatar. It stuck, then when we sent to see the puppies,
I called come here Tatar and this one ran over and fell over my flip flop.

Well we are picking up Tater on Saturday. Cannot wait. I emailed the breeder just to check to see how he was doing, and she told me that his brother, she had sold, but the buyers backed out ... So now his brother does not have a family yet.:(


I asked Mr, Kooky if we could get him too, but Mr. Kooky said no way!!! Four dogs is too many!! lol.

He looks like he does a lot of sleeping.

He goes and goes for about 2 hours then passes out!! I took him to the vet for his first visit today.
He has hook worms and a little fungal infection.:(

Doc said he should cleared up in about a week.:D

When i worked at the humane society almost all the stray and lots of the surrendered puppies had worms. Sometimes they would be wiggling in the poop. Ewwwwww.

He's a cutey! Never a dull moment. You might find him a big cow bone to chew on while he waits for you to get home. They tAste like gravey so puppies never get bored of them. I got mine at the tractor supply.

OMG!!!! Good I didn't see that thread when you initially posted late August Kooky...
My boxer has what they thought to be a vasculocerebral accident on August 1st while we were on holidays. His state became worse and worse and they finally found out that he had a brain tumor and we couldn't do anything for him. We had to euthanize him on September 1st...
Owww I so much miss my big buddy!!!!

Tater is sooooo cute by the way!!!
Boxers are really great, so kind, so funny, it's been a huge emptiness when he left.
We still have a Jack Russel who is now 6 years old. Funny how he's been feeling as he were the master of the house now the boxer is no longer there. But he was sad too, he kept looking for him for days...

our kids and family love dogs and pets. They don't mind helping out so, it's easier having multiple dogs. The nanny also helps but she's really hired to watch the kids so yeah....

Boxer are not aggressive dogs at all.
They can become aggressive depending on how they are raised.

They are people dogs and do like alot of attention.:)

Well time for a Tater Update. 51 Pounds!!!! He is using Cosmo as a pillow!!
He has been a little terror recently. I get somekind of surprise everyday!!
A piece of wood chewed up, a rock from the backyard, a shredded magazine and my favorite, a decapitated stuff animal.

Well guys I cannot believe it but Tater went for his annual vet visit!!! He is now 62 pounds!!

This is my computer chair and when I first got him I would be curled up with my laptop on the arm of the chair and he would sleep on my hip.

Now at night he gets in the chair, and tries to curl up, but I can only take it so long!! I always feel bad when I make him get down and he gives me the "sad puppy face".:confused:
