Anybody else's gifts vanishing?

Every time I try to use my food gifts (cappuccino, brownies, etc.) and then either close the game or go to tip my friends they just vanish. I don't earn any money from them and my hearts drop dramatically. This has been happening for 4 weeks now, and I'm getting really upset because that is a lot of gifts that I'm losing. How can this be fixed?

I've reported it to everyone and they can't/won't do anything to fix it ha. Just trying to see if its just me or anybody else.
