That's ridiculous! I was told that they originally were only 25 gold. Why don't they drop the prices? I understand they need to make money but they need to make these prices more reasonable or have a gold sale or make it easier to get gold. Its just crazy hour easy it is to get diamonds in bakery story and how hard it is to get gold in ds

If that made you pretentious, then most of the other Dragon Story players would be pretentious right along with you :) A lot of people have their fingers crossed for that exact update, and even if they don't, I doubt they would complain about it ^_^

Unless this week's update comes completely out of left field (releasing something like ultra rare versions of non-diamond hybrids, Infinity hybrid dragons, or 2-color diamond hybrid dragons), there really are only 4 possible dragons that can be released...

For regular (non-diamond) hybrid dragons, the only things missing are a super rare Purple/Yellow hybrid and super rare Purple/Green hybrid.
For the diamond hybrid dragons that have been ever so popular the past few weeks, all that is left is a Blue-Diamond hybrid and Purple-Diamond hybrid.

Unless a new color/element is released or new special dragons (like Diamond or Infinity), that is the end of what is possible with the current colors/elements.
Unless TL releases ultra rare versions of the non-diamond hybrids (red/green, purple/yellow, etc.), Infinity hybrids, or 2-color hybrid Diamond dragons (like a combination Blue/Yellow Diamond dragon, etc.), releases another new mystery combo dragon (like the Infinity)

Well at least in Dragon Story you can get every dragon and almost every piece of decor in the game without ever having to buy or spend gold ^_^ Most of the other Story games (Bakery, Fashion, Restaurant, etc.) you wind up being severely limited without gold. Hopefully TL will start releasing weekly decorations (or atleast just more than we have now ^_^ ) once more people have the majority of their expansions cleared and actually have room in their parks to spend a lot on decorations :) Fingers crossed!

Some TL games allow gamers to earn gold, in DS, seems it is buy TL gold.. or go play another game.
DS is a great game in theory.. but needs updating; for example - increase habitats, and don't make it so impossible to obtain certain dracs.
Still.. with all my whine... love and am quite addicted... to the game of DS; must be a weakness for the dracs.

awesome, 10 hours isn't too bad especially for a super rare :D

im just glad this dragon wasn't diamond, or even worse, blue/green... i wouldn't even want to try for it, for fear of getting more islands! at least with red/yellow the longest you have to wait is 14 hours and that's an eagle so not all that upsetting tbh

out of curiosity, what did you breed to try for this? I find that I get eagles more easily when I breed Air/Fire, and more firestorms when I breed Fire/Air... if you look at the icons for each dragon, you'll notice Eagle is listed as yellow/red, and firestorm as red/yellow..

so since this dragon is yellow/red, might help to try air/fire (and if you get an eagle instead, not as bad a consolation lol)

Two distinct Super Rares for one hybrid? (yellow/red hybrid also has the Scorpion dragon as a Super Rare) Interesting... Four separate dragons for a single hybrid type is quite a bit of variety. I like the new dragon design, but this update frightens me. I'd rather see the last two hybrids without Super Rares made available (P/G and P/Y) and the diamond hybrids finished off since their release is most likely inevitable and just a matter of time (B/D, P/D) and then a new color/element (orange, white, black... take your pick) introduced for more of the regular (non-diamond) dragon hybrids in the three difficulties... common, rare, and super rare.

This 4th type of dragon for a single hybrid could potentially mean 4 - 6 distinct different dragons for every (dual color) hybrid combination released so far. For the people that have been playing since the beginning and have already bred the majority of the dragons released so far, especially the non-diamond ones, getting a specific dragon will be even extra difficult. Getting a super rare can be hard enough as it is, let alone getting a 2nd type of super rare when you already have the 1st :-/

AN INTERESTING COINCIDENCE

Hmm... interestingly enough if TL releases two commons, two rares, and two super rares for each (non-diamond) hybrid dragon color combination and the remaining two diamond hybrids, you wind up with the following number of different types of dragons.

ADD THE FOLLOWING...

18 common dragons
18 rare dragons
18 super rare dragons
4 single element (green, red, blue, yellow)
1 diamond
1 infinity
5 diamond-hybrids
1 rare red/blue hybrid resulting in purple (magic)
1 rare red/blue hybrid resulting in the athletic dragon
2 possible common red/blue hybrids
2 possible super rare red/blue hybrids

When added together, this gives you 71 potential different dragons.

Ironically enough, if the maximum amount of habitats remain the same (25), and 2 of these habitats are Diamond habitats (one for each the Diamond and Infinity dragon)... 23 habitats, which contain a maximum amount of 3 dragons each remain. The grand total? 23*3 = 69 + 1 + 1 = 71

Coincidence? Only time will tell ^_^

I play on a kindle fire. I can't get my social rating to go any higher than three aggs, no matter how many visits/plays I do to my neighbors dragons. For several days now, I can't send gold to my neighbors, it always says they don't get it because I have already sent them gold that day, even though I make sure I wait over 24 hours before trying to send gold again. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled twice, which doesn't change anything. Any suggestions or ideas? Also, still don't have any goals. Are goals coming to the kindle soon?

I believe only iOS advertised other TL games you can play as goals where u can earn a few gold by getting to a certain level
