Is the sonic oven worth it?

It says it reduces cooking time by 20 percent, and I'm wondering if it is worth buying or not. Does anyone have it?

I have a few of them. They were really helpful when I did not have many appliances, because I could turn over the receipes faster.
If you play on IOS device and get goals, they really speed up getting throught the receipes and getting through the goals faster.
They are really nice on the day and two day receipes.

I don't know what your level is, but at about level 65 or so, you will find yourself with more food than you can use and your bakery space will be taken up by counters of food. I am level 70 or so and I have stored many of my appliances to try to get some food cleared. I would be patient and not waste your money on the sonic oven.

To me, it can be a little useful, especially for goals if you're an IOS user, however, more than 1 or 2 of this appliance is useful. Doesn't seem so worth it if you want to get only 1. To me, it doesn't seem worth it, but thats coming from a member who doesn't spend money on these games. It's your choice. :)

Thanks kooky for your input! I know this is an old thread but does anyone else who still plays have these ovens and do you think its worth so many gems? Or should I just stick it out? >XD

it does not reduce goal cooking time

only reduces the recipe cooking time and only for basic appliance recipes
if you have a goal that requires only a basic recipe you can use these.

example: if you have a 3hr peach cobbler recipe
baking on the sonic oven- it will be ready to serve in 2hours & 28 minutes.

is this better?

This "goal" doesn't mean the monthly goal, it's for ios only, e.g. serve something and then you'll get 3 gems, similar as the download goals for android.
