Beginners gets discourage from games?

I play bakery on my iPad and recently I got an iPod so I decided to open another bakery account on that iPod,
After 2 days I was a bit discourage because...

Too many recipes to master,
Too many appliance to build,
Too many appliance with only a few recipes in each of them,
Takes forever to get to 4 star recipe with only 4,5 appliance,
Neighbors that have high star ratings are high level and they never want someone as low level as me to be a neighbor....so now I only have my original account as neighbor and a few beginners like me but they never tip or send parts,

Anyone in the same boat?

One thing I can suggest about the neighbors- ask your neighbors in you first game if they will add your second account. Many of them probably will, since they know your game play. I did that when I first started my second games, and I was able to add every single neighbor I asked.
