Where are my gems?

Yesterday (my first as a farmer) I had 10 gems.

I didn't spend them but they are gone

Any ideas ?!?

You could have spent them all accidentally while planting crops. I did this, I was happily planting a ton of crops, I ran out of coins, and because I was tapping quickly to plant everything, I hit the "Accept" for the convert gems to coins on the "Oh Darn!" screen.
