A picture says a thousand words...
And yes, I did close & restart my BS...

For 10 Gems and an item of this miniscule size,
I want to be able to place it ANYWHERE.

when:
~ I have NOTHING to spend on (or deem not worthy spending on)
~ and 1 solitary Gem purchase

Where neighbors Lynn and I just checked ur bakery Nd I see the sign perfectly :)
And you have tons of gems o.o share the wealth? Lol jk ..how have you not had any gem traps! If I would keep that many gems my finger would of falling into the baking gem trap with the ovens for sure.

Mother of gems! Have you contacted teamlava support about this? (although we know how long it takes to hear back..) I'd love to look at your new sign, but sadly my game isn't opening once again. Woohoo.

That's coz AFTER taking the pic,
I placed it the next block where it CAN be seen! LOL
I can't have half a sign hanging there ^_^

I play on the iPad,
so I relatively speaking,
I'm "safer" than iPhone players with smaller screens ;)

Also, after the first few Gem traps,
I'm UBER careful now - almost obssessively so!

Yup.

I tried a Window in place of the Door,
and it displayed fine.

When I place my door to the left of one of my display cabinets, when it opens it disappears into the display. I guess it's the same sort of thing. Ten gems for half a sign? Let's hope they fix this for you soon!

But don't hold your breath.

A week ago, I opened the Cake and Tea box, and it was "Processing" for a couple of minutes. Before I found out what I got, it said my bakery was out of sync with the server. Once it was re-synced, it said that I didn't have enough gems for the box. My 24 gems were gone, but I have no idea what I got because I couldn't find anything in my items. I emailed them straight away, but haven't heard anything back (except the auto-response email). I would love to get a refund on my gems, but even more than that, I would like them to look at how many gems I have spent trying to get that darned sampler cart, and just give me that.

At the moment, though, even a reply would be nice.

I hope this gets fixed soon. I was so excited by that charming sign and wanted to put it on the side of the door that opens but I keep getting the half-cut off too. I put it on the other side but it doesn't have quite the same cuteness IMO.

Well, another 24 hours have gone by...

Surely TL's incredible expertise on bugs

a tiny glitch on such minuscule item?

I would like to know whether this is on the list of priorities. If not i most certainly would like a refund of the ten gems I spent to purchase the sign and would suggest that the sign be made to cost coins instead of gems.

They are still working in it. Once there is definite word, one of us will post an update. I did get the info that it's still being worked on today, just a bit ago.
