Normal and upgraded farm

What's the difference between the normal and upgraded farms?
I think in this game I will only bread and hatch 3 monsters (the ones with money) thres no was I get 50 or 100 golds!!!

Normal farms get 3 choices of food, and Upgraded farms get 6 choices.

Dont worry about the large farms they are more for high level players, I am at lvl 25 and I still mostly make the bizartichokes. As far as the monsters which cost gold, you can breed the 4 base monsters to get them, so again dont worry about it.
