Welcome to the world of Dragon Story! Dragon Story? is the very best dragon game developed by TeamLava. It provides you with the most exciting experience through the amazing adventures of hatching, raising, breeding and evolving your very own dragons.
To help you start your role as a caretaker, the Dragon Mother will patiently help you step by step through the game, until you feel confident enough to explore the Dragon Isles on your own. Once you are familiar with the unique lifestyles and qualities of your dragons, you will come to discover yet, the miraculous existence of an Ultra rare race in Dragon Story - the Diamond dragons! To have a diamond dragon residing at one?s homeland is the highest honour one can receive in Dragon Story. So what are you waiting for? Let?s get ready and start the legend!
Walkthrough
Upon receiving warm greetings from the Dragon Mother, we begin to learn the basics tasks of being a caretaker.
Note: The currencies used in dragon story are Coins and Gold, you will need either one of them to complete purchases in the game. You begin the game with 5,000 Coins and 20 Gold.

1. Birth of the first dragon?
- Simply tap on the empty nest to add a dragon egg.
- Patiently wait for 30 seconds for the fire dragon egg to hatch.

- Each type of dragon have a different hatching time, the loading bar above the nest shows the time still needed for the egg to hatch.
- When you see the ?READY? sign above the nest, that means your dragon is now ready to hatch!

2. Habitat

- Depends on the type of elements that your dragons belong to, corresponding types of habitats will need to be built in order to accommodate them. So in this case, we will need to build the ?Red Rocks? for our baby fire dragon!
- Once you have brought a habitat, tab to place it where space is available, and the building process will begin. A loading bar will appear above the habitat which indicates the time still needed to build the habitat.
- Different habitats will have a different time for its construction process.
- When it?s done, you can place your dragons on it and see them play around happily.
3. Your dragons are hungry
- It?s time to feed your dragons! Go to the right hand corner of the screen you will find the icon ?MARKET?. Select the ?BUILDINGS? category and you will see the picture shown above, which represents the ?Farm?.

- Once you have purchased the farm and finished building it, you will be able to grow different foods for your dragons.
- Different crops will require a different amount of time to grow. The loading bar above the farm indicates the time still needed for the crops to grow.
- When you see the ?READY? sign above the farm that means the crops are ready!

- To feed your lovely dragons simple tap one them, and select ?FEED?.
- When you reach higher levels in the game, you will be able to upgrade the farm to a larger one, which will also allow you to grow more crops to feed all the hungry mouths of your growing dragons.
4. It?s all Sparkling!
- When you progress further into the game, you will need more coins to develop your Dragon Isles. But don?t worry! Your dragons will kindly give you all the coins you need.
- Each type of dragon produces a different amount of coins every hour.
- Whenever you see ?Sparkles? on any of your habitats or the ?COLLECT? ?sign, that means it is full of coins for you to collect now.

5. Hybrid Dragons!
Are you ready to discover the magic of cross breeding your dragons? You never know what could happen. You might even get a Diamond dragon egg this time!

- To start cross breeding your dragons, you will need to purchase and build a ?BREEDING DEN? first. This can be found in the ?BUILDING? category in the ?MARKET?. (Available at Level 4)

- Tap on the breeding den and you will be given the option to choose a dragon from the left and right. Once you have selected the dragons you want to breed together, tap in the middle to pay 200 coins, and the breeding process will automatically begin.
- Breeding times are different for every type of dragons. All you have to do is wait patiently for the mystery to unravel!
6. Epic form dragons!

- As you feed your dragons, they grow onto higher levels. The higher the level, the larger the amount of food you will need.
- Starting from level 1, you dragon will complete 3 evolutions until they reach their Epic form at Level 10. The first evolution takes place when you reach level 3, second at level 7, and finally at level 10.
- In order to evolve your dragons, you will need to purchase and build the ?Evolution Temple? from the ?BUILDING? category from the ?MARKET?. (Available at level 3)

- To evolve a dragon simple tap on it, and choose the ?EVOLVE? tab.
- Please note that the time required to complete an evolution varies for different types of dragon.
7. More space?
- Need more space to build habitats and farms? Search for the ?EXPAND? sign located in the nearby bushes to widen your territory.

- Tab on the sign and you will be asked to pay for the expansion costs. As you expand deeper into the Dragon Isle, you could be asked for ?Mystic Maps? in order to further your expansion process. This can be acquired from your friends and neighbours, so don?t hesitate, ask them to help you out!

- The loading bar above the area of expansion indicates the time still needed to complete the expansion process.
- Please note that the amount of time required to complete an expansion process will increase progressively each time.
8. Have some free time?
- Still waiting for an egg to hatch or a hybrid to come? Use this valuable chance to visit other Dragon Isles, make some friends and play with other dragons. You can share your experiences in cross breeding dragons with other caretakers. Perhaps you will discover some tips on how to breed one of those rare dragons!
- To visit another Dragon Isle tab on the ?Menu? button on the left hand corner of the screen, and tab on either ?COMMUNITY? or ?NEIGHBORS?. There you will find lots of other players in a list, simply tab on ?VISIT? next to their ID.
- The more you visit other Dragon Isles, the higher social rating you will have. (Full social rating is indicated by ?4 eggs?)

- Each time you play with a dragon a bonus is left on their habitat, which grants the caretaker of the Isle extra coins. So keep up the socialising, you will have more people visiting your Dragon Isle, which means more and more coins!

1. How can I get more gold without buying it from the app store?
You can kindly ask your neighbours to send you gold. Every player is able to send gold to a limited amount of players every 24 hours.
2. How can I get more coins?
You can purchase more coins through the app store, or raise your dragons to higher levels so they will produce more coins. Also, there are tasks in the game which will award you will coins after you have completed them.
3. How do I breed a Diamond Dragon?
Since it is the Ultra rare dragon in Dragon Story, it could take more than several tries to successfully breed a Diamond Dragon. Some of the known combinations of breeding this dragon are Firestorm Dragon & Island Dragon, Serpent Dragon & Firestorm Dragon, Scorpion Dragon & Atlantis Dragon? The breeding time of the Diamond Dragon is 44 hours. So, good luck!
4. How do I breed a Magic Dragon?
To breed a Magic Dragon use a Water Dragon and a Fire Dragon in your breeding den. The breeding time for this dragon is 20 hours.
5. No breeding time is shown on the breeding den, what happened?
Sometimes it might take a little longer for the load the breeding time. Try clicking on other buildings in the game and come back to the breeding den later. It could also be an internet connection issue, please double check your internet connect status.
6. How do I take a picture/screenshot of the game?
For iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users, press the home button and the lock button at the same time. For Android users, Press the volume button and the power button at the same time to take a screenshot.
7. How do I add a friend as my neighbour?
They will need to have a Storm8 ID for you to add them as a neighbour. They can register one with a few simple steps. Once you have their Storm8 ID, go to ?MENUS? and select the ?SOCIAL? tab, then tab on ?INVITE?. Type in their Storm8 ID and tab on the blue ?INVITE? tab to sent them your invitation.
