Just got the goals feature, really frustrated

So, my Android just updated Dragon Story and now I have the goals feature. Fantastic. Unfortunately, I already completed half these goals earlier in my game, and they aren't working retroactively. I am not going to pay real money just to skip the steps and get credit for things I already did.

I'd really like to just delete my account and start over, but I haven't found any way to do that. Is it even possible without getting a second device?

No it is not possible to reset. Most of them should work retroactively when you complete one of the goals. They will just start popping up.
