It depends on the time zone your in, but usually it appears by mid afternoon.

I saw on another topic that the updates are out at 11 am in Pacific Time Zone. Now I think it's 5:40am, so still plenty of time of waiting >.<

If I get a Thursday Update, it normally occurs between 230p - 530p for most of my games, I'm Eastern Time Zone. That would be 1130a-230p Pacific Time Zone. I think the latest update time I've ever received was around 7p my time, and that was for Fashion Story, but it has been awhile since my updates have come that late in the day. If you don't get an update on Thursday, you'll be a Tuesday Update user on that particular week and will have to wait until then to get the new content.
