Starting..
You can be an iOS user or Android user.. This guide will help your dream to build a bigger, better, epic etc. etc. ;) Dragon Empire!
Remember that you need a working internet connection to play!
Moving On..
So when you first start the app you will see two buildings, a Nest and a Farm.. You have to start from there and you have 5000 Coins, 20 Gold (Make sure you spend your Gold wisely) and 8 Fruits.. You will see two menus named Market and Menu also..
Market..
Once you go to the Market you will see:
Featured: Newly introduced dragons, buildings, habitats and decor
Dragons: Where you find all the dragons
Habitats: Where you buy your dragon a place to live
Buildings: Other important buildings
Decor: Where you buy stuff to make the Earth a better place to live!
Expand: Expanding your territory ;)
Menu..
News: Where you accept your gifts and attend to neighbour needs.. All the breeders who visited you are seen here
Social: You will see the DS community, your neighbours here.. You can invite new neighbours from here

Buildings..
There are 4 types of buildings in DS: Nest, Evolution Temple, Farm and a Breeding Den.. You can build up to 6 farms and 4 nests in total.. You can have 1 Evolution Temple and 1 Breeding Den..
Nest: The place you place your egg until it hatches
Evolution Temple: The place where you evolve your dragons
Farm: The place you grow fruits to feed your dragons
Breeding Den: The place where two dragons meet and create hybrids
NOTE: You can buy all your farms for coins while the nests can only be purchased from Gold..
Dragons..
Ready to meet your new pets? Well here we Go!
There are two main types of dragons.. Four main dragon types: Fire, Forest, Air and Water which can be purchased from coins and hence they are all common..
Then there are hybrids.. The hybrid dragons are formed by adding two dragons in the Breeding Den from the main 4 types.. The hybrids can also be divided into three parts: Common, Rare and Super Rare..
Ex: When you add a Fire and a Forest dragon you can either get a Life Dragon (Common), a Wild Dragon (Rare) or a Super Rare Forestfire Dragon.. So if you're lucky enough you can get Super Rare and Rare dragons in your first try.. Hopefully :)
Then there is the Magic Dragon whom we consider as a main type, but it can be purchased only by Gold so it's a Rare Dragon.. You can Breed a Fire type and a Water type to create a Magic Dragon easily..
Last but not least is the Diamond Dragon.. This epic dragon is very hard to find (I mean it!) so it's ULTRA RARE by default.. You must have all the main four elements in the Diamond Dragon so better breed some hybrid dragons first to get it.. The Island Dragon (Hybrid of Water and Forest) and The Firestorm Dragon (Hybrid of Fire and Air) are widely known to give the Diamond! So it's worth a try..
Habitats..
When a dragon egg hatches the infant dragon has a place to live.. There are 6 types of habitats..
Yellow Plateau: Place air dragons and air hybrids here
Blue Lagoon: Place water dragons and water hybrids here
Green Grove: Place forest dragons and forest hybrids here
Red Rocks: Place fire dragons and fire hybrids here
Purple Gardens: Place magic dragons and magic hybrids here
Diamond Fields: Place diamond dragons and diamond hybrids here
The habitats can hold up to 2 dragons at the start until they are upgraded.. The Diamond Field can hold only 1 dragon..
You can have 25 habitats and 75 dragons in total..
Upgrading..
All the above mentioned habitats can be upgraded barring the diamond field so they can hold up to 3 dragons..
Farms can also be upgraded to Large Farms so they have 6 fruit types to plant.. Farms only have 3 fruit types..
Feeding..
Once your baby dragon is hatched and kept in a habitat you MUST feed them to grow.. The fruits from farms should help..
There are 10 feeding stages and 5 levels for each feeding stage..
Ex: To grow a dragon from stage 1 to 2 you need to give 1 fruit 5 times.. From stage 2 to 3 you need to give 4 fruits 5 times..
Evolving..
When you reach stage 6 after feeding dragons you have to evolve it to grow more.. The Evolution Den is used here.. After you reach level 9 you must evolve it again to make it an EPIC dragon.. The Evolution Temple is only available after you reach Level 3..
NOTE: You need exactly 9615 fruits and 2 evolving stages to make a dragon from Infant to Epic..
Breeding..
When you want to create a hybrid just go to the Breeding Den and select a dragon from each column and breed together to make a hybrid.. The Breeding Den is only available after you reach Level 5..
Expanding..
Expand your territory by clicking the Expand sign scattered everywhere in the islands or in the Market.. At first you will need only coins to expand but further down the road you will need mystic maps.. You must obtain them from your neighbours.. So adding neighbours is a must..
Foliage..
Once you expanded a piece of land you will have to remove the foliage as well.. You must clear foliage before you can use that piece of land..
Neighbours..
Go to Menu and Settings to create a Storm8 ID.. Then go to Social and visit any community member and write on their wall your Storm8 ID and hopefully they will add you and all you have to do is accept.. :) You must add lots of new neighbours to be a successful dragon breeder..
Gifting..
You can gift 3 of your neighbours Gold per day and you can receive up to 20 Gold per day..
Decor..
Add decor to make the island a great place to live for the dragons..
Coins and Gold..
Every dragon you purchase gives a certain amount of coins per hour.. The amount increases once it levels up.. You will see a COLLECT sign on top of habitats when the habitats are nearing their coin limit.. Click it to obtain coins..
You can receive Gold from your neighbours in DS.. Also there are lot of Goals you can complete to obtain Gold..
Goals..
Once you start DS you may see a book/notepad on your screen.. Here lies the Goals you can complete when playing.. Do what they ask from you and get the rewards.. Simple!
Level Up..
You will need XP to level up.. XP can be obtained when you buy d?cor, complete Goals, Harvest fruits etc. etc...
Playing/Tipping..
When you visit your neighbours' or community members' islands you can play with their dragons and leave them a tip..
NOTE: You can play with 6 neighbour dragons and 3 community member dragons per day..
Tips..
Gold can be used to speed up any process.. I personally recommend using Gold to buy nests.. If you have 2-3 nests use Gold to speed the breeding process..
Go to the team lava DS discussion forums to seek any guidance and get to know the stuff better..
Like the Facebook page to get an idea about the new arrivals of DS..
Remember that you will get weekly updates in DS.. So make sure you dont fall behind.. :)
