Does anyone know how to get the shell lizard? I know Monster Story is like Dragon Story, so is the shell lizard like a magic dragon? If it is, which colors have to be bred?

I think it's wave wing and sea buffalo. They may have to be a certain level as well.

I can confirm that I got a Shell Lizard (on my first try *lucky*) by breeding a lvl 6 palmwing + lvl 6 Sea Buffalo. My guess is that any combination that contains all 4 base types has a chance. Assuming best case scenario that it has an even chance to get it as any other hybrid and diamond you are still looking at only a 12.5% chance

Any 4 color monsters can get you a shell like a infernoo vs birdball, long as you have 4 colors you can get any monster even a shell, or diamond

Tried that for my first 10 attempts. Now I'm just using all the 4 colours in hope for a diamond. I thought surely I'd get a shell lizard along the way, along with other rares. WRONG!

So I ended up switching to breeding sky turtle vs ecogoo for diamond a few people has gotten it this week with this Combo. In last 20 times with this pair no shell. So I am happy mostly 5, 6, 12 hour monsters

Today I finally got a 20 hour breeding time. I used a level 10 sea buffalo and level 10 palming (in that order). I didn't count how many times I attempted to get a shell lizzard, but it was about 3-4 weeks of trying. Usually I get an 18 hr breeding time but I was very happy when I got the 20 hr long one I have been waiting for. It is frustrating having to spend so long to get a shell lizard. I wouldn't mind, but when you need a shell lizard to breed many of the other monsters, then it's particularly frustrating and makes the game boring. I have a lot of catching up to do now.

I have been continuously breeding sea buffalo/wave wing or sea buffalo/palm wing for a shell lizard for weeks and have had no luck. I've bred 12 more wave wings, 2 more palm wings, 4 more sea buffaloes, and 4 more griffins. I did breed a mosstrich and a medusasaur out of those combos, but not shell lizard. And I either have another griffin or medusasuar breeding right now, probably a griffin. That's 23 fails if you don't count the mosstrich and medusasaur. This is getting very very frustrating.

I recently bred my first shell monster. I wasn't really trying for a shell. I wanted either a birdball or a furball. So I bred my level 10 blue blob with my level 9 gobblede****. Woo hoo! Got my first shell! So I'm happy about that. Then (because I'm still trying for a furball or birdball) I bred my same level 10 blue blob with my level 10 griffin. Got another shell. Went from not having one to 2 in a row! So, perhaps that's the "magic combination." A blue bred with a red and yellow.

I need advice for a Shell Lizard, please.

I've read through the other threads and I've written down and tried every single combo suggested there multiple times. I keep getting wavewings and palmwings and ecogoos and I sell them because I can't hold anymore. This has been going on for weeks.

It frustrates me to no end that I'm only a few points away from level 20 and I see people much lower than I am that have shell lizards, white hybrids, and even diamonds... and all I'm getting are palmwings and wavewings. I'm about ready to chuck my ipad out the window. I refuse on principle to buy gold to just buy the thing, no matter how tempted I am.

So PLEASE help me with every idea or combo possible to get a shell lizard before I lose my sanity.
Should I expand more first?
Should I buy the white pad first? (if you build it, they will come?)
Should I evolve more monsters to epic first? (most of mine are level 9)
Should I try the same combo over and over until they get the hint that I want a shell lizard?
Should I keep the eggs I'm getting instead of selling them?

I got one from Inferoo and birdball. But, I believe that we all have different combo's that work best for us. I keep track of all my breedings so I can see which monsters have the best track record. Once I know which ones give me more rares and super rares I try to use them in my breeding combinations. For what it's worth, my inferoo/birdball combo got me 4 rares out of 6 breedings while my pumpkin/king clam got me none and my eaguana/burnback combo also got me none. Needless to say, I'll be using the inferoo/birdball a lot more than those others!

You may be doing this already but you could try doing several in a row of the same combo before switching around. That's how I do it. Then I can see at a glance that out of X number of breedings this combo was good or not so good. Then try next combo for X number of breedings ... I usually do at least 5 before switching up.

I just finished with Mosstrich number 10. Definitely not amused, either. I would like to try and breed a Shell Lizard without having the possibility of a Mosstrich pop out. I thought I would be rid of the problem once I got my Pumpkin that I was trying for, but nope. Mosstrich after Mosstrich after Mosstrich is just NOT amusing, fun, or engaging. It's only immensely annoying and irritating.

I would like to announce that yesterday I found out that I will be the proud mama of a shell lizard!!!!! Took me 80 bajillion tries and I went with the "if you build it, they will come" theory. I expanded and built the habitat and then I bred my 7 Medusasaur and my 9 Griffin and I got my baby!!! Happy dance!!
