some of u guys r super lucky , no matter how hard I try I can't breed any of the monsters from this week or last week...I try for a scarab and I get a shraptor..try for a phoenix:get griffin..etc....Wishing I had the luck of some of y'all

you know i really don't think it's luck. I was telling myself I wanted a crab and not a cat and I got a cat instead. The other time, I told myself I wanted any monster and I got the pony instead. When you don't want something, you get it...try, but don't try too hard? I had 8 ecogoos in a row before this

I have the Diamond habitat and it says the coin capacity is 20,000. Is that the amount I will get or is it the amount of coins of Pegasus. Right now, I earn about 1,400 coins from Pegasus but when I collect it's more than 10,00 coins.

The other way that can happen is that if you spam click habitats fast enough to collect the coin sometimes it will join two messages together, resulting in a rather large coin message.

I just bred a Firefox and Shell lizard together to get the new Hermit Cat and whatever I'm breeding is a 2 day|36 hour breed time. Does anyone know if this would be the Hermit Cat? The page here is not updated yet ( understandably) with the new monsters that were just released. Oh and btw, since when does 2 days|48 hours equal 44 and 36 hours? Lol. Although I'm not complaining that breed and hatch times for the rares aren't a complete 48 hours. :-) OK thanks so much for the help. Its most appreciated. :-)

I see someone else asked the same question as I was typing mine here! Very cool! And my first try for it to! That's what makes me like this game better than Dragon Story. I am having a little better luck breeding what I'm actually going for. Yay! I don't have that same luck with Dragon Story....

If I remember correctly that one had a vilevine thicket or something like it there. But yes 'only' two huge mossrocks, even though I managed to clear out the second one today. They are now making me feel rather broke as I look towards the top level knowing a lava pit awaits me.

Can someone answer this question for me please...When your monsters are in the breeding garden do you still make money off their habitat? For example I noticed that when my diamond is breeding her habitat doesn't seem to collect any revenue.

Out of the rares: King Clam and Eaguana are top notch
Out of the white commons: Shraptor
Out of other commons:
Lvl 6-10: Griffin at 855, but if you do not like his evolution time of 18 hours... then Sea Buffalo at 810
Lvl 3: Griffin at 258, followed by Tree rex at 250

Side note tree rex is a good cheap monster that makes excellent monster filler until you get better monsters to fill your habitats with.

With the most recent update, some of those breeding times may not be up to date with the monster that comes out.


These times are not bugs. Although these monsters look the same, note that they have different names and different stats than the other version of them self. For example, Blue blob and Blobbie look the same but have different stats.

Ugh. I'm frustrated and confused. Today I bread a Medusasor with a Griffin and got an egg with a 20 hr breed time, I decided to speed up the 18 hr (I think) hatch time and was SUPER dissapointed, expecting a monster more interesting than a really weird, hybrid dream bird. This dream bird or red and yellow. ??? I've seen other ppl with the same experience and it just seems like a mean trick :(

yah they are either having a glitch right now or they are producing similiar monsters that take an absorbent amount of time to hatch... many people are not happy with it at all because that monster should only be taking a minute to hatch... however they are similiar looking but have slightly different qualities

After seven CuddleCrabs, I finally got my Hermit Cat. I used Fire Fox (9) and Shell Lizard (8). Really happy.

My hybrid Dream Bird took 18 hours to hatch and is Red+Yellow colour; named Twizzit.. Gives much more coins than original dream birds. My other hybrid was the Tree Rex - Emerald. Took 12h to hatch and is Green+White. Gives more coins than original tree Rex too.

Wow, it took like 8 tries for Hermit Cat, then as soon as it was done on the breeding den I threw my lvl 8 tree rex and my lvl 10 dream bird on and got that mosstrich thing. Now if only i had the gold to speed that up ;)

Nice chart :)
Can give you some tips:
1. Use pairs for breeding consisting of 4 elements as it gives you small chance of getting ultra rare diamond
2. Use rare monsters in pairs as there are more chances of getting other rare monsters
3. Use each pair from 5 to 10 times for greater possibility of getting diamond. Also it allows to distinguish better combos.

Mosstrich would have been 32 gold to speed up and Diamond Pegasus 44 gold to speed up, so it depends on how long it has been since you started breeding.

Well nobody responded to ^that and I was still seeing price differences in my expanding so I created a new MS account on my sons ipod and expanding is totally different. First 3 expansions cost 100 coins no maps and all 30 seconds, 4th expansion cost was 500 coins 30 seconds, 5th expansion cost 2,000 coins and 30 minutes, 6th and final for today cost 4,000 coins 1 hour, all still no maps required. Anyone know what's up, are my accounts wrong, has expansion changed, has anyone else seen different info as well????

To get a shell, try 3 elements. It'll probably work better that way. And we're not really sure about the new monster, but it did mention "halloween" so it probably means it won't be always available.

Actually, you do need the four elements to get the Diamond Pegasus. What I used to get the Diamond Pegasus was Palmwing and Sea Buffalo. Also, I uses those monsters to get Shell Lizard.

Well, I would NOT mind having a diamond pegasus, but I really wanted/needed the shell lizard...so adding a fourth elemnt could possibly do more harm than good? Because I have higher chances of getting other monsters other than the shell lizard. Decisions, decisions -.- even if Ido go for a 3 element combo again, I still dnt know what to choose. I've tried medusaur and dream bird, or griffin and tree rex, and it didnt work. Guess I'll need to try hard for a while.

You will find out shell lizard has a not-too-low probability to show up when breeding 4-color.

I can say that all of my 5 shell lizards are bred unexpectedly, because I always put 4 colors to breed.

One more thing. I my main account I am level 18 (going on 19) and have been expanding. I already think the costs of 100,000+ of expansions are a bit harsh, but then having to clear trees that cost 45,000 and palm trees of 90,000 ... That's way too much!
I was wondering whether I should keep expanding, and leaving the trees un-cleared, or if I should save up money to clear them before expanding a few more times.
I'm asking, because in DS some items cost hundreds of thousands to clear. I don't want that 45k tree to turn into 450,000 .... -.-

From what I seen, the further out you expand, the higher the cost of the expansion and clearing cost.
As you level up and play more and get more habitants and monsters, you should be making more money per day, so I think that is why the costs increase the higher you go .

Agreed - in DS, small bitterbark trees on the main starting island are 10,000, but go up to 30,000 on the other islands.
