Well it's a tough job it takes hardwork and dedication.
That's why I started this begginer's guide to help you on the way.
Let's get started.
Levels
Leveling up brings you to new things and new dragons.
While leveling up you unlock ways to get more farms,habitats,nest,expansion, & dragons.
You level up by earning experience.
You can get experience by building habitats,hatching dragons,planting food,expanding,completing goals, & clearing objects will talk about that later.
Market
In market is your key to becoming a wonderful Dragon Caretaker.
There you buy Dragons, habitats, farms,nest, & expansion.
You can find the market icon in the lower right corner.

Gold
Gold is really helpful, but very hard to get you can get by completing objectives or buying it or if your neighbors sent you some.Will talk about that later.
Gold can help you finish crops, hatch eggs,finishing evolving,&buy expansion or buy coins.Soon you will understand all this
Farms
Farms are really important & helpful in this game.
You start with one small farms which includes 3 options.

ImpurBerries 30coins cost Harvest Time 30secs get 6 food
Buffbeets 120coins cost Harvest Time 3mins get 20 food
FireApples 659coins cost Harvest Time 1hr get 50 foods
There is also a Large Farm.
This farm has more options to plant a food.
You still have the first 3 options but get 3 more options than before.

Habitats
Habitats really help in earning coins and getting experience.
Dragons get coins and then you can collect what they left behind.
Many dragons get coins differently by the hour than other dragons.
The maximum habitats you can get is 25.Not much:(.
Some habitats can get coins diffrents some can only get 2,500 coins another 5,000 coins.

Dragons can only be in habitats there color shares with.
Like a Fire Dragon it's so it can only be in a Red Habitat.

Decor
Decorations makes your island look prettier than your neighbors.
Gives you experience.
Also can makes your island look pretty, stylish, sexy, & groovy.

Expansion
Expansion you need it you can't fit all 25 habitats with 6 large farms in it.
More stuff in it.
You can expand all the way to 3 or more islands but does cost coins and 2 more things you need to do.
Which brings to what I mention clearing objects.
You may come in with a little problem while expanding.

Mushroom stalk cost 25coins to clear
Shroom stalk cost 25coins to clear
Mush mold cost 50coins to clear
Small stone cost 250coins to clear
Timber patch cost 500coins to clear
Small bitter bark cost 1,000 coins to clear
Timber wood cost 1,500 coins to clear
Weed wood cost 5,000 coins to clear
Fung stone cost 7,500coins to clear
Large Timberwood 9,000 coins to clear
Large Bitterbark Tree 25,000 coins *to clear
Wretch rock 100,000 coins to clear
Looks like your going to have save lots of coins
Second thing is mystic maps your going to need neighbors to sen you those so you can expand further.
To expand you click expand on market or a sign which says expand then pick a place you want to expand and your going to have everything it ask for.

Dragons
Now to get to the exciting part Dragons.
There is 4 different types of dragons.
1st:Common
Common dragons are the easiest to get you just need to breed the dragons it needs.Well talk about breeding sooner.
2nd:Rare
Rare dragons well there rare they may take a while to get mostly they say it's luck but as long as you match the colors they are you might get it
3rd:Super Rare
Super Rare well there all really recouped of the rare or common dragon they are more harder to get than the rare dragons but not impossible though
4rd:Ultra-Rare*
Ultra-Rare Dragons you can tell by the name extremely hard to get there is only two ultra-rare dragons the diamond dragon and the crusader but your going to need the diamond for a crusader.A way you can get a diamond is by breeding all elements like fire,forest,air, & water or fire,forest,air, & magic well as long as you have 4 elements.

As you can see the more rare the dragons are the more coins they bring.
Breeding
Eventually you cannot buy every dragon with gold that's why you have to buy a Breeding den in lvl 5.
You breed dragons to get common, rare, super rare, & ultra-rare dragons.
For rare, super rare, & ultra-rare dragons you may need to try a lot of times to get one out.

Evolving
You cannot get a epic form dragon just by feeding it eventually your going to have evolve it into a powerful form.
That's why you need farms to Eht food and get it to evolve.
Your ***na have to feed it 5 times each but they go higher.
You feed it 5food first then 20foods then 40foods then evolve then feed 100foods then 250foods then 500foods then evolve then feed 1,200 foods then 2,500 foods the last 5,000foods then evolve into epic form.
In total your going to need 9,615 foods to fully evolve a dragon into epic form.

Nest
Nest is handy at only hatching your dragons but also but knowing which dragon your getting.
You can also tell by breeding time but nest let's you look at the eggs and how beautiful they are.
My favorite one is the Mistmoth Dragon.Its super rare

Goals
Goals are some things that can help you earn experience, gold, & coins.
Goals are very fun yet hard to do but it requires to buy stuff.

Social
The Social Network here is really important your going to need friend well neighbors in this game to help complete goals or expansions.
There are 3 things of the social.
One is community which lets you view random people's islands.
Next is neighbors there like friends who help you out by giving you mystic maps or sometime stuff to finish goals.
Last thing is invite you can only invite people if they have a Storm8 ID.
To set up one you go to settings then forum and there you can get one.
You may also be Facebook Login to see if some Facebook friends have Dragon Story or you may send a SMS or Email suggesting for them to get Dragon Story.
Once you have neighbors you will get messages o them giving you presents or asking for material or letting you know they played with your dragons
