Dragon story beginners guide:
Welcome to dragon story! Here is a guide to help you get started!
BUYING/HATCHING EGGS:
Tap on "market" (on the lower right hand corner), then "dragons". Tap on the dragon you wish to buy and the egg will appear in your nest. Note: You will need 2 nests to hatch 2 eggs at the same time.
HABITATS:
You will need to buy a habitat for your new dragon once it hatches. Tap "market" and then "habitats". There you must choose a habitat with the right color for your dragon. For example, a fire dragon is red so it must go in a red habitat. Hybrid dragons with 2 colors will be able to go in either habitat (a red/yellow can go in a red habitat or a yellow one). If you upgrade your habitats, they will be more expensive but hold more coins and dragons. A large habitat holds 3 dragons.
PLANTING FOOD/EVOLVING DRAGONS:
if you tap on a habitat, you will see an icon that shows up beneath with your dragons' names. When you tap on it, you can choose to feed your dragon with apples, which you can plant on your farms. A small farm gives you the option to plant impruberries, buff beets, and fir apples. They will give 6 food, 20 and 50 food. On a large farm you can also plant pump wings, eliteleeks, and scaly pears that yield more quantities of food. When your dragon reaches level 3, 6, and 9 you will have to evolve in an evolution chamber (market, then buildings). The evolution time is approximately the hatching time of a dragon. As your dragon levels up, it will give more coins.
BREEDING DRAGONS:
To get rare and common hybrid dragons without buying with gold, you can breed them in a breeding den (tap "market" and then "buildings"). Pair two dragons with the colors you need (for ex., to get a life = red x green). To see which colors you need to breed, simply go to the market and scroll to the dragon to see which colors combined will give you one. Note: rare dragons will be harder to get, and you might need to try multiple times for one.
DECOR:
You can make your island pretty by buying items to decorate. Tap market and then decor to view the selections.
EXPANSION:
When your island is too crowded, you will need to expand. They will take time and cost money and mystic maps. You will need to ask neighbors for mystic maps. To send a request tap on the area you want to expand to and tap where it says ask friends.you may also purchase for gold.
COMMUNTY:
To visit community members tap menu then social. You can play with their dragons and leave messages on their wall.
NEIGHBORS:
To add neighbors, who will gift gold to you and accept requests, add their S8 ID. Tap on menu, the social, then invite. Neighbors will play 6x with your dragons.
FORUM:
Your S8 ID will be set up in any game as well as your password. Use them to log onto the forums where you can recieve help and other useful information!
