I have an iPhone 4 so I am not sure if this is happening on any other versions.
What happens is this:
I'll get the notification that a contract is up, the cash register sound. The I'll have the little notice on the App corner. The Red circle with a 1.
I'll go in and get my money and add new contracts. When I close City Story it will still have the notification on the App telling me I have 1 notice.
If I leave this up I do not get the cash register sound or another notification that my contracts are up.
What I have to do is open the multi tasking list and delete City Story off that list. Then I have to open and close City Story again. Only then does the Notification icon go away. And only then will I get my next cash register notification and new icon.
