As a test I'm posting this to see if there is a whitewash going on, if if TL let free opinions be heard - I'd posted before but that comment is not appearing now, it was there earlier though.

The game is generally stable and has very good addictive elements. Anyone who says its good that they introduced so many restrictions however to disrupt gameplay are either paid shills posting, or die-hard fanboys wet with brainwash.

Introducing the update 'need a higher score' element is transparently to make you so annoyed you buy the score increase, which you need ultimately to pay real cash to do.

It's a clever idea and with the other addictive elements will squeeze money from people - often children.

Is it a good idea morally? Getting money from children? Paying for the right to play something by choice that you already own is ridiculous but it only needs a few people paying to make it financially worthwhile. Plus this is how gambling operates, slot machine style.

TL should stop being greedy, charge more upfront and / or charge differently.

Seriously, would Angry Birds have made globally millions of dollars if you could only shoot 5 birds?! No, you buy it, it's yours, they added an in-app purchase that ADDS to the game but not required. Take note TL you could try learning here..

You must've stolen all my thoughts about TL from my head. Yeah, they delete anything that makes them look or sound bad. They just want our money, but don't want to do anything good to deserve our money. I mean, we're paying to keep them in business, can't we have something good to come back to us?! They don't really want our opinions as they do whatever they want. We never asked for certain apps, we never asked for certain features, we never asked for prices increases, yet we get them! And I'm only going light right now.

Thank you for your suggestions for Bubble Mania. Changes are made to the game to increase the longevity and balance of the game. We welcome constructive feedback and suggestions towards improving the features and content of our games.

Our games are free to download and play. It's not required to spend real world money to enjoy our games. We do offer special in game currencies that users can purchase with real world money to exchange for in game items or benefits. Creating and running games isn't fueled by cupcakes (not that it wouldn't be awesome, but unfortunately, it isn't so), it's fueled by real world money which means our games need to have monetary support. Please note that our games require the user to be 13 years or older to play. If the user is 13+, but under 18 years old, they must have their parent or guardian's permission to play.

Of course we don't have to spend money and yes, you do need monetary support, but I think you're going about the wrong way to get money from us.

But it is IMMORAL to make children addicted to your game and then take away the ability to play levels they have played before (without losing energy)!

Before the update I could go back and play all the early levels over and over. If I got two stars , I got free energy.

WHY DID YOU TAKE THIS AWAY FROM THE GAME? IT IS IMMORAL!

I totally agree with you! I am stuck at level 40 that I have played for a week, I am giving up now! This game is *****ing. I am pretty good at shooting but when I am close to victory the ball goes where she wants! I have no intention of giving TL real money, I installed it only for having Fashion story gems and I continued playing because it was funny but now... Too many tricks! And I'm sure the game sometimes does his best to increase your frustration and make you tap Buy just to pass on that level. Well, TL, breaking news... I'M NOT DUMB.

I completely understand that you have to have money coming in or you simply can't function - likewise, some of the biggest complainers on these threads proudly proclaim they will never buy gems - not trying to offend, but it's the truth. How do you expect Team Lava to function if people aren't willing to support them with REAL money?? It can't happen. Period.

That being said, I have spent quite a bit of real money on BS and RS...I've enjoyed Bubble Mania, but, for me personally, this isn't a game that I would buy gems for. I would, however, pay for an app for Bubble Mania that would have endless "energy" and levels that were challenging but not ridiculous. I'm not sure if I'm on day 3 or 4 playing level 72, but I can say this is my last day if I don't get through it.

I will still continue with BS and RS for awhile (maybe), but the endless pop-ups are just getting ridiculous. I get that you need to make money, but I really think you're going about it the wrong way. :(

I agree with the fact that TL must have an income, in fact I bought gems for Fashion Story to buy special items, but I don't accept that being quite good at shooting balls I have to pay to pass levels because otherwise I get the You need a higher score message. I'd prefer an amount to pay if I want to play after first levels, like a trial version, and then I'd happily buy the full one. After that, if I am a good player, I go on, if not... I stay stuck, but it's all about being a good player or not. Anyway, just uninstalled Bubble mania and all the other games that came out as "goals". I simply take the free gems for Fashion and then uninstall without even trying the new games.

I dunno if the update messed with us. It's just been getting harder and harder. It's not a challenge, it's HARD! I haven't opened Bubble Mania in a week now. That either means I'm tired of playing, or I know I'm not going to pass any time soon because it's impossible at this point. The Help Me Thread posted by jplus was supposed to be a request thread for tweaking in levels. Not a single thing has been changed. Well, at least it has, because you've made the game harder.

Yeah it's impossible to play now on some le els to get coins.. Even if you do combo over combo you can't get 3 stars and the don't give you your energy back even if you pass the level

Agreed! They lost my daughter before she really even had a chance to get hooked because of the new, 'your score is not high enough' (or similar to that wording). I like your idea of a free trial, and it would have worked with me - I like the game, I would have been hooked, bought the app and went on my merry way. As it stands now, I'll probably be deleting the app today and that's the end of my Bubble Mania adventure.

**TL ~ I hope what I'm saying is being taken as constructive feedback. :)

I just uninstalled Bubble Mania. I was playing and Einstein's defintion of insanity came to mind - if I can't even remember if I'm on the 3rd or 4th day of playing level 72 that definition pretty much fit. *sigh*

That's what I meant! :) my felicitations for reaching level 72, I gave up at 40 :( I don't have much time to play daily, but with a little practice I improved a lot, then I got stuck at 40 and I thought for some reason I was so stupid that I didn't find the right way to play and win that level. Then I discovered that I needed help to double my score (paying for that). This made me mad! :) It's not that I don't want to pay... I don't like being fooled!

These levels shouldn't require power ups to pass them. They should just be a help.

Then, after all, I must be stupid :) I had to choose between making a high score or trying to rescue the babies, not enough balls for both things playing without boosts. I have rescued babies a lot of times at level 40, but every time I got the You need a higher score **** message :D When I focused on making a high score and THEN save the babies, calculating how many balls I needed, at the last 3 balls I got useless colors or, worst, the last ball was color matching, my shooting was right... And the ball did not go where she was supposed to! And I was really concentrated on that last ball. That's when I decided to give up.

I completed level 66 three times and each time I received the message "you need a higher score". Are u serious team lava. I'm an IT Specialist/Program Analyst for the FBI and temporarily work for Facebook and I write software programs all day, everyday. The way the game is programmed is for you to highly fail certain levels and eventually spend your money in order to get to the next level. Your chances of getting a higher score and saving the babies at the same time are nearly impossible. Team Lava is so so so so sad.

TL, if you want money, CHARGE for the app! It's not that hard, and guess what, if you offer a free demo for the first 3 islands, people will probably buy the game. Don't try to make us lose the level. People don't like that. People enjoy playing games that it is POSSIBLE to win. This game drives people so nuts that they stop playing your OTHER games, losing you even MORE possible money.

I will never ever buy a team lava game again! This game is too difficult!

multiple gems traps in Story games, impossible to pass without spending gems Bubble Mania makes me just want to play the games for free and NEVER EVER buy a single gem however nice the item is. Cos my real money is going to other apps that have a gem-confirmation button (or should i say, a button that confirms the usage of real money to buy items in the game), offers us five real money in game currency for playing for 5 days consecutively all the time, and an app that requires a once off payment like $0.99, an in app boost that is also a once off payment and allows unlimited use etc. Games that respect their players, that respects that their players should have a choice on WHAT they want to spend their real money on, and not take away gems which people have paid real hard earned money for in gem traps.
