puffs of dust, smoke, whatever?

Does anyone know what the little puffs of smoke are in some of the rooms. It isn't the stars that come from when someone visited. They seem almost randon. THanks.

This happens when pets teleport to their own rooms again. Sometimes they get stuck, though most of the times it's pretty random. That poofy smoke cloud appears when they return to their rooms.
