Where are new items for level 11?

I just reached level 11 and it said Icould now access new foods in the market....like a hamburger(I think) and a couple of other things....but when I open my cookbook, there are no new food items.

This was a very common question when this game was first released. You will need to go under DESIGN then go to the APPLIANCE section and purchase a Grill. You'll have your new recipes on that appliance.

I already tried that but it wont even let me buy any more appliances until level 14!

Try storing an appliance that's already in you restaurant first. Then purchase a grill.

Make sure there is no food cooking before storing. If you store with food, you will lose the food.
Oh and do not sell appliances, just keep them in storage, and you can switch around you appliances whenever you need them .
