Do you think you will have a more likely chance to breed a diamond if you use rare dragons?

Like, instead of using Firestorm + Island, What if you use Scorpion + Atlantis?

I have been using Atlantis and scorpion for a few days have gotten a lot of good dragons but no diamond yet

I've been toying with the idea of breeding epic ultra rares but unfortunately for me I'm a noob, barely at level 14 and just one large farm so right now I need to focus on building a nice large income made mainly of large land farms and growing adult dragons. Not to mention I have to expand as well which is getting pricy. Once I can start cranking 30k or more every few hours and have all large farms I can shift focus to evolving my adult dragons to epics and breeding.

I'm not sure. I've used eagle x serpent (don't have scorpion or Atlantis :() and I have gotten 1 serpents and 1 mindvolt and 1 wild from it out of 7,8 tries, which I consider good. No diamond yet, but yes, it does get me most of my rares...
